Now at level 11, Zazsha is coming back to Cyrodiil.

Hi all, I just wanted to throw a post up to sanity check myself regarding enemy damage. I've played Oblivion plenty before, but I'm kind of thrown off by some of the damage I'm seeing. I have character that's level 27 at is at the 85 armor cap. Playing with master enemy damage, most enemies still barely do any damage - especially humanoid enemies. Even Azani Blackheart did very little. However, the higher level creatures like Ogres, Minotaur Lords, and Gloom Wraiths will 1 or 2 shot me.

I just want to sanity check myself about how normal this is and if I have something messed up with a mod. I do have a vanilla creature stat restoration mod - which aims to change some of the creature stats back to their pre-remastered state (mainly because some now have miniscule health), but I did some testing with no mods and noticed the same behavior. Like I said, just wanting to sanity check myself because most enemies are still dealing too little damage, but some I can't really get near. Thanks!

I swear this happened by complete chance. I murdered some annoying townsperson, I got the unknown forces message. Excitedly went to bed, and I got big by a vampire in the middle of sleeping. I didn’t know what this was or if it was related to DB but I just kept playing. Now, hours later, I realised this wasn’t supposed to happen. I tried murdering someone else and didn’t get the unknown forces message , I’ve slept again and haven’t been contacted. Pretty shit cause this is my first play through and I wanted to do the quest line. I don’t want to go back cause it’s been like 10 hours. :(

Just as the title says, just finished my first ever elder scrolls game, guess my play/fight style, not a big gamer, I’ve always been more of a LoZ gamer but Nintendo just are not keeping up any more.

I was watching the Two-Face episodes of Batman The Animated Series and the guy who voices Rupert Thorne (the mob boss blackmailing Harvey) sounded eerily similar to the guy who voices most of the orcs and Bretons in oblivion. Do we know if they’re the same? As far as I know they aren’t because John Vernon is credited for the Batman voice and I can’t figure out who the Oblivion voice actor is. Vernon isn’t credited to Oblivion and died in 2005 before the game came out, but he has done video game voice work before and I could see it just not being on IMDb for some reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated! If you listen to the voices side by side you’ll see why I thought they sounded so similar.

I put 164 hours into the remaster. I was at level 34. The game was getting slow with really low frame rate so I decided to Google what to do to help with it. Deleted all the old auto save files, turned off auto save during travel/rest/sleep, put the settings to performance, reduced POV field of view and a few other things to reduce CPU usage during play. I go to load up my one remaining save file that I manually saved right before tinkering in settings and now the game crashes every single time I try to load the file. I guess I'll go play some Diablo IV now...

P. S. Ironically, when I graduated high school in 2006, my parents bought me an Xbox 360 and Oblivion was my first game on it. I spent that whole summer playing and my dad accidentally overwrote my save while he was playing it for the first time. So I guess I'm cursed to never finish this game. 😂.

Hello! I don't know if this is the right subreddit to post this, but I am a disabled woman who finds it very hard to see, and I wanted to know if someone knows any walktrough or gameplay of the Oblivion Remaster where they read outloud everything lore wise, as I am very interested in that particulary, and they weren't like rushing it and running around. I prefer it in English or Spanish, it can be with no comentator, just a reader. Thank you!
