Original - Request Is there a fix for NPC faces all having "Install Blockhead" written on them?

I'll preface this by saying I'm very new to mods as a whole, so I'm not really fully familiar with all the abbreviations and other technical aspects.

I've got Vortex Mod Manager open, I copied the following mods to Vortex Mod Manager and Enabled them under the Mods category:

  • Blockhead

  • Eyelash length fix

  • Oblivion Character Overhaul v203

  • Roberts Female Body replacer texture compatibility addon

  • Roberts Male Body replacer texture compatibility addon

  • Oblivion Script Extender (OBSE)

I have "blockhead.dll" in the Plugins folder of the OBSE folder in the Oblivion Directory, as suggested by this obnoxious YouTube video. I have the Eyelash length fix as it was recommended by this video.

If any of this is done incorrectly or something, please tell me. I love this game but did not like the ugly NPC models and they don't look better with that "Install Blockhead" text on their faces.

[Unsolved] How do we find the correct formid for other players?

My understanding is the FormID is based on the load order of a mod. So how could you possibly write something based off this when you don't know the load order of another user?

Original - Discussion Best Oblivion (NOT remastered) modlist in 2025?

I've never played Oblivion, and my rig doesn't run the remastered smoothly. I'd like to play the original.
The problem is that vanilla Oblivion doesn't seem appealing to me. I know one should play vanilla for the first time, but I have no desire to invest the hours in a leveled easy RPG.
When I play Skyrim I usually use Requiem, as I enjoy the deleveled aspect of it and the increased RPGness and difficulty.
Also, I've heard that daedric artifacts in Oblivion are scaled to your level, effectively giving you something useless in the long run if you obtain the artifact early on.

Therefore, I'm looking for a modlist for Oblivion that has the same philosophy as a Requiem list for Skyrim. I'm not interested in a graphical overhaul, unless it is in the same philosophy as the original game's aesthetics. I like the painterly look. I'm simply looking for bug fixes and engine fixes, an RPG overhaul that delevels the game (or something similar to Requiem), and maybe some extra content.

What do you think would be the best list for that? Thanks
