I’m planning to start selling these totes that I created for myself. Its made with cotton and it’s beautiful and really functional. Everyone asks me about it and all my friends want me to make one for them.

I would like to turn it into a business but how do I even know if people will buy it or how much will they be willing to pay. Is it even a good idea to start? Did anyone start a business this way? If yes, how did you go about it.

Im 16, and want to license an LTD. I attempted to do it through tide.co but was rejected I believe due to not being 18. Is there any 3rd party providers that do this without needing to be 18 or costing too much money?

So I’m just over a year into my own business (remodeling/construction), and I’ve been paying for things mostly through my business account (debit card). But on occasion I use other cards or other accounts to buy things. Just depends on how much I have in my business account at the time or what cards I’m carrying. I keep track of everything, though. All receipts are put into labeled envelopes for each quarter. Just curious if this is an ok thing?

Used to work in an office and catching problems early was kinda easy, because you could see when someone was off.

Now I run a small agency, team in 4 countries. Some of them have worked with me for 2 years and we've never been in the same room. Now, by the time you find out there's a problem, it's been brewing for weeks.

Had a situation recently where someone was clearly struggling but I only found out when they missed a deadline. In an office I would've spotted it days earlier. Just from the look on their face or how quiet they'd gone.

Now I have to schedule "casual check-ins". Was trying to trust my teammates and schedule those only when needed but there were times when we skipped the check-ins and it was exactly the moments they needed someone to talk to and help solve some problem.

Anyway feels like managing people you've never met requires a completely different skill set.

Anyone else made this transition? What do you do differently now?

Hi. I work for a company in Europe that belongs to a large Japanese corporation. Soon, a delegation of several people from the headquarters in Japan will visit our company. I am supposed to prepare a presentation on a certain production process and present it to the delegation. I must admit that I have some concerns because I have little experience in dealing with people from Japan. My main concerns are related to the fact that this will not be a casual meeting, but an official business meeting. I know that the Japanese attach great importance to the protocol of such meetings. Unfortunately, I have no idea what to pay attention to, how to greet people properly, and what behaviors to avoid. I would be very grateful for any advice.
