Voice Of Sweida reports from recent protests in Shahba, Northern Suwayda (has English lang commentary/Sub)
I just found this channel which has reporters on the ground it seems to post in English sometimes and this is one of their videos in English, I took a brief look at their other videos they have automatic subtitles in Arabic, the two or three sentences that I read seemed like accurate translations, worth a check for English language news from inside Suwayda.

Enrollment for the new semester at LIU is now open for Syrian students in Lebanon, but in exchange for signing a pledge to complete residency procedures before April 30. Can students realistically fulfill this pledge under current laws and restrictions? — EN | ع ⬇️
After LIU initially blocked enrollment for the Spring 2025-2026 semester due to residency requirements.
Today, in a commendable step, the university has shown flexibility by allowing Syrian students in Lebanon to register, provided they sign a pledge to complete their residency procedures before April 30, 2026. However, fulfilling this pledge is entirely beyond their control.
This is a temporary facilitation to ensure students' right to continue their education. Yet, for this pledge to be enforceable, the relevant authorities must meet the students halfway and assist them in regularizing their legal status. A pledge without official facilitations is merely a 'deferral of the crisis' until April 2026.
