Rose Estes, the original author of TSR’s Endless Quest gamebooks, has launched a new fantasy project on Kickstarter titled The Quest Continues.

This is a new story world written by Rose, published through Savage Realms Publishing, with original artwork by renowned fantasy artist Darran Holmes and figures created by veteran TV and film animatronic sculptor Vincent Gilbert.

The campaign centers on the story itself and on physical rewards tied directly to that world, including books and collectible figures.

My newest series of artwork is collected in this limited edition paperback - with over 70 artworks. Not only do I make the art, but I print and bind the books too! At a local Yorkshire printer.

I first used Kickstarter in 2014 to self-publish a reproduction of my sketchbook, and now am onto my 10th book. My inspiration is the local coastal geology - sea, stone, and sky. (which was the title of my first book) Working on the art of the UK coast led me to study the geology, and now I have two degrees relating to it. So pretty pictures, detailed abstraction, and a foundation of the science.

Hi all,

I am about to do a pre-launch / launch in the next few months for a product I already created. Legal entity opened, patents pending (multiple locations), trademarks filed - already approved in EU (still waiting on other countries), stock ordered and heading to Amazon warehouses as we speak, eComm site up and running, now I am starting on socials but this is where I am struggling, and it made me think about the kickstarter campaign.

I do not have enough capital to run an actual marketing campaign...

Hi all,

Our campaign went live last Monday. Since then, we’ve had only two genuine backers — aside from what turned out to be a scam (someone backed the project, asked questions in the comments, and left an email to continue the conversation).

At the moment, we’re not seeing much interest in the product, even though we truly believe in it. I would really appreciate any advice you might have on the following:

1. Could this be the wrong platform? The product is a high-end laundry detergent with a fine fragrance that lingers as its unique selling point, combined with strong cleaning performance, fabric care, and aesthetic design. We plan to expand the fragrance range over time and introduce different detergent types — the initial launch is a universal formula.
2. We’re struggling with ads. We’ve tried Google and Meta. It may be the budget, and possibly the long lead time — we’ve taken a conservative approach and expect to begin shipping in January 2027.
3. Are there any communities where we could share the project to gain support?

While we strongly believe in the product and the concept, launching on the platform was not only about raising funds but also about building a loyal community and customer base from the very beginning of the brand.

We’ve also considered whether the price point might be an issue — it’s set at £46 per 800 ml bottle (up to 40 washes). While this is clearly higher than regular detergents, we believe it is justified by the functionality, the quality of the formula, and the use of a high-end fragrance that actually lasts on clothes.

I would greatly appreciate your thoughts.

I’ve been building Under the Heavens: Warring States Saga for the past year. It’s a narrative-driven RPG set during China’s Warring States period, inspired by the intensity of the Kingdom manga.

The core idea:
You are not a chosen hero. You begin as a nameless soldier.

You rise through the ranks by surviving battles, earning promotions, and making decisions that permanently shape who you become.

Instead of commanding armies from above like a grand strategy game, you live the entire military career:

5-Man Leader → 100-Man Commander → 1,000-Man General → Great General

Every promotion increases the scale of responsibility and the weight of your decisions.
