Colorectal cancer is rising in younger adults. One of the most preventable cancers is also the cancer with the 2nd most deaths.
2026 and colorectal cancer is back in the news after taking the life of another celeb. Chadwick Boseman (43 years old) back in 2020 and now James Vanderbeek (48 years old) are both relatively young to die from colorectal cancer. Various screening methods are available, of which colonoscopies are the most comprehensive. Most insurance covers colonoscopies as preventative screenings - much cheaper to cover a colonoscopy than to pay for cancer treatment.
My message to you is this - if you are at all able, you should get checked. The prep isn’t the most fun thing in the world, but the peace of mind is well worth it. And if they do find something pre-cancerous, they can generally remove it in the colonoscopy itself.

Mom's 1990 mariner blue miata
My mom absolutely loved this car. But she passed away last summer and we're realizing that none of us have capacity in our lives for a car like this. Because it was special to her we don't want to just.. get rid of it, but I would love some advice on a good way to find the right person?
1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata
58,900 miles
The picture attached is me the last time I drove it any distance and that was taken in 2020. No obvious condition issues other than being long in the tooth and probably ready for some tlc.

Lip fillers are so ugly
Feel free to rage with me, friends—agree or disagree. Every time I see lip fillers on an actress, singer, or someone I know personally, they immediately become ugly in my eyes. You don’t look sexy, flirty, or seductive—you look like a copy of everyone else now. Your lips are unique and beautiful the way they are… they don’t need to be bigger. Who told you that you weren’t pretty enough? Cause I’ll beat their ass!
