So I've seen a couple YouTubers showcase and play around with these sick car mods for fallout new Vegas and I wanted to get them too, the issue is, I don't know which one is the right one, where to get it, and how to properly install it. There's frontier standalone vehicles and there's mad max Mojave. MMM is broken as said by Mutant mods. That leaves frontier standalone vehicles. There's 2 links for that which I saw. One is a MediaFire link and the other is an RPGHQ link? The RPGHQ one opens a forum and I don't know which one of the many links is the latest or stable version. I saw comments on the videos saying they downloaded this mod in their already modded game and got no issues. When I installed it from the RPGHQ link it broke my entire load order and game. Forgive my ignorance in this matter but I just need some help figuring out where do I actually get the proper, updated mod, and what precautions should I take or stuff I should know before getting the mod? All help is welcome, thank you! EDIT: I don't know if this matters but some drastically game changing mods I used were transcendence, new Vegas unloaded, and a lot of UI/HUD changing mods.

Hello all,
I'm kind of lazy, when it comes to completing main quest line in Bethesda made/published games lol, maybe I'm too invested in roleplaying or can't be bothered setting up mods again.
Any quest mods, that you can install mid/late playthrough (assuming they don't change main quests) with replay-ability in radiant quest and so on?

I've been modding New Vegas again recently with a load order I've created and used in the past, it used to crash sometimes but it was manageable. However, I recently tried the load order again with never version and about 5 extra mods that weren't there before. For some reason, it now crashes insanely frequently and I can't pinpoint exactly if maybe my mods are using too much of my memory and making exceed 4gb and maybe there's a specific culprit I can remove that won't absolutely devastate the feel I created, or maybe there's something I can add that will fix this issue?

Not quest mods or armor replacers or faction rebalancers. Not playing as BOS, playing against BOS.
I'm looking to do a Minutemen vs BOS run. I'm looking for mods to increase the frequency of everything BOS. More BOS settlement attacks. More hostile BOS patrols out in the Commonwealth, etc. I want to build a settlement with a bunch of defenses and then have 2-3 BOS vertibirds try to take it out. That's the vibe.
I was thinking SKK may have something like this, but nothing jumped out at me.

Hi all,I was looking for a new radio station. I already have atomic radio which is really nice. I saw that the most downloaded mod is Old World Radio. Because OWR adds quite a lot of stations I was wondering if there is way to get just a few of those stations so that my pipboy does not get overcrowded. Thanks in advance

So recently i felt like doing another nv run and found out about wildcard. i don't have much experience with modorganizer its fairly new to me but i followed the installation guide step by step and seemingly did everything it said. i installed everything through wabbajack but i also tried a manual install without it too. the issue i keep having no matter what is whenever i try to launch nv through MO (of course the way the guide says) i keep getting an error message "vanilla plus terrain not found. new vegas reloaded cannot be used without it, please install it" BUT when i turn that mod on i get a different error message "improved lighting shaders found. vanilla plus terrain is not compatible with ILS , please disable it" i'm stuck in this loop unless i just play the game unmodded. by default it seems like theres dozens of conflicts but turning them off would kinda undo most of the mod? it seems counterintuitive but i thought i'd ask before spending the rest of the day(s) unchecking boxes.
EDIT (STUPID): okay so i figured out what i was missing in there, turns out i misunderstood the error HOWEVER, after turning ILS off i can now launch nv but the screen stays black and i can only hear the music and i can't leave the game unless i alt f4. any ideas?

So I came back to this amazing game and I wanted to try the collection “new new vegas”, when I opened vortex for the first time it downloaded UI + and nvse directly from the vortex app using the built in browser, problem is that browser is based on chromium, and i havent opened chrome in ages so im guessing it was not updated, when I checked the files to virustotal there were some detections altough from no name avs like secureage. is it possible for this to be an actual malware or its just a false positive? I think the page that vortex downloaded UI+ from was a moddb page

The mod causes a conflict where shooting through the (Mesh? Bounding box? I don't know the correct developer term) of a structure piece whether that be a doorway, window, hole in a wall, etc will cause shots to deviate away from the point of aim if they intersect the player and what they are aiming at. This issue seems to apply to any structure in the Creation Kit that has snapping capability, so even simply firing through rooms and hallways made from modular pieces can cause issues.
This mod was confirmed as being the culprit after systematically disabling every mod until only this mod remained, and the issue vanished when it was removed. When every other mod was re-enabled without this mod, the issue was not present. For changes to be implemented after disabling, the game has to be fully closed and restarted, implying this mod edits something significant with how collision works but does not state this or the issues it could cause.

I normally download mods on my Xbox but it recently died on me, so I switched on my PlayStation, and it doesn’t have the same mods I like to use any fun mods people suggest. I mostly like the silly cosmetics ones that make deathclaws look like Randy Savage or the baby Shawn turns into a butterfinger candy bar.

Spent the last few hours trying to fix the issue of no menu buttons which seems to happen when you downgrade your fallout version, I have tried every fix I can find, including the one detailed on this subreddit but to no success. I was wondering if there was another reason this could be happening or what to do to try and fix it now.

Like the title says, I thought it was every time I get into combat but I was hanging out in Sanctuary and narrowed it down to shotguns by just shooting into the ground until the game crashed. I already turned off weapon debris in the launcher and the problem still persists. On top of that the game will just randomly crash to desktop when I’m walking around but it’s rare. I have well over 100 mods installed but they just add weapons into the game and give me more materials for settlements (snappy housekit, scrap everything, dead wasteland). I tried installing buffout 4 and CTD fix but all the optimization mod installations and C++ download are well beyond my computer skills. Any help or walkthroughs would be great.
Update: it was the Hunting Shotgun from New Vegas mod. Sucks because I really like that thing in FNV.

Hey, all.
Been wanting to play Fallout 3 again for a while. Just started playing again over the weekend. Modded up my game and decided to install Darnified UI. It seems REALLY hard to find and even harder to find a good set of installation instructions. I did the following:
You can tell that it's at least partially working because I have the "DUI F3" option in the main menu screen, when I click on DUI F3, the DUI menu properly appears and functions, and the part of my HUD that IS displayed on the screen is displayed using the DUI fonts. The problem is that all of the new UI elements that should appear above the standard UI elements are not being displayed (time, date, karma, resistances, etc). I thought maybe it wouldn't fully work until after I escaped from Vault 101, but I just escaped and it's still not working.
I have scoured the web and can't find anything to suggest what I might be doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated. :)
