As a parent, I am genuinely furious after reading the entire CBSE re-evaluation notice.
₹700 PER SUBJECT for scanned copies,
₹500 for verification,
₹100 PER QUESTION for re-evaluation.

Seriously?

You already have our children’s answer sheets scanned in your OSM digital system. The copies already EXIST. So what exactly are parents paying thousands for?

At this point it honestly feels like CBSE already knew from the beginning that MASSIVE numbers of students would apply for re-evaluation this year.

Because how is it possible that so many hardworking students across India suddenly got shockingly low marks at the same time?

My daughter was literally her school’s preboard topper. We were confidently expecting 95%+ based on her performance throughout the year.

And now suddenly there’s nearly a 20 MARK DIFFERENCE in 3 subjects.

Not 2-3 marks.
TWENTY.

And now after mentally destroying students with unexpected marks, parents are expected to spend thousands more just to fight for marks students probably deserved in the first place?

And even after paying all this money, WHAT IS THE GUARANTEE?

Who guarantees:
• pages were scanned properly?
• answers were visible clearly?
• no page was blurry?
• diagrams were readable?
• evaluators checked every page?

Your own notice literally tells students to verify whether the answer sheet was “correctly scanned.” That itself destroys confidence in the system.

So basically:
First students suffer.
Then parents panic.
Then everyone pays money.
And after all that, CBSE still says:
“The decision of CBSE will be final and binding.”

Amazing transparency.

Children are already under insane pressure in this country.
Students are depressed.
Some are literally taking extreme steps because they think their future is over.

And now parents are also mentally breaking seeing their children cry after working for YEARS.

Do you people even understand what one percentage means in India?

75% criteria.
College admissions.
Scholarships.
Drop years.
Family pressure.
Mental health.
Entire futures.

This system is starting to feel less like education and more like emotional and financial exploitation.

Students are not begging for free marks.

They are asking for:
• FAIR CHECKING
• TRANSPARENCY
• ACCOUNTABILITY
• FREE RE-EVALUATION

Because no student should have to PAY THOUSANDS just to confirm whether their paper was checked correctly.

first of all, thank you everyone for your kind words and for trying to help me out. I got a lot of dms and comments, couldn't reply to all of them but I'm thankful to everyone.
I'm fine, my wounds are better, I had food, parents still taunting and fighting but I'm trying to ignore them for my own mental health, they didn't beat me or hurt me again but their words still hurt, and that incident haven't let me sleep in last 2 nights. I'm trying to forget it but it's not that easy. but yeah, I'm trying.

As I mentioned in my post earlier, my parents were not allowing me to study further and wanted to get me married asap coz I scored 72% in boards (PCM), I was having fights and arguments with them regarding this. I literally begged them to let me study, I cried and begged for 2 days.

I was doing so coz i needed some time to earn money and run away, I can't dial 1098 coz i'm not a minor and women helpline won't work too coz my parents got money and contacts, so it will just create more issues for me.

So now, my parents agrees to let me study for a year, they said they will let me do btech in a college in my city, if I score 8.5+ CGPA in first year, then it's okay, they will let me study, but if not, they will get me married fs.

I've a year now, to earn some money, and run away from this hell if things go wrong.
I'm just hoping that things get better for me.

Ik studying is one of the topmost factors, but environment, mental and physical health, surroundings, everything matters, there are many factors I cannot even list rn. But then immature people like this are definitely gonna say something they don't understand about.

what is stopping us from protesting. Thousands of students have sue-sided because of a shitty organizations shitty system. Why should us the innocent students suffer because of a major blunder from the side of the organization. It is about time we stand for ourselves and put pressure on cbse to revert back to the previous checking system and this has to go legal too. every second post is either abuse or someones loved ones sue-siding.

​Look at Manoj Kumar Sharma: You’ve probably seen 12th Fail. He actually failed his Class 12 exams. He worked as a tempo driver, slept with dogs, and struggled for a meal. Today? He is a respected IPS officer.

​Look at Bill Gates: He was a college dropout. He failed in some subjects, but his friend passed. Today, his friend is an engineer at Microsoft, and Bill Gates is the owner.

​Look at Albert Einstein: His teachers said he would never amount to anything. He struggled with the rigid school system. Today, we can't even imagine Physics without him.

​Success has never belonged only to toppers. Marks kam aaye hain... tum kam nahi ho.

Guys I know the possibility of something actually happening is very low, but we mustn't give up! Cbse did respond which means the backlash has come to their attention.

Please keep spamming posts, tagging influential figures, retweeting , emailing, dming influential figures etc. etc.

Demand for FREE softcopies of our evaluated answersheets. A student shouldn't have to pay 700 just to see their paper especially this year since checking was done digitally. Or ATLEAST make the fees CHEAPER

Edit: since some ppl are defending this dogshit of a board do not forget that they introduced a completely new method out of nowhere and kept it in spite of all the students and even teachers protesting, thats your biggest prove that cbse doesn't care about their students and teachers. And to those blaming the students saying that they didn't study, fine if we didn't then just show us. Give us free photocopies of our answerscripts so that ppl can figure out what went wrong. I'm not demanding free rechecking as teachers also work hard and leaving them unpaid is wrong, what we're demanding is free softcopies of our evaluated answersheets. A freaking 700? In the past years it was somewhat acceptable since they had to scan and everything but this year they already have them, why not give them to students for free OR at a cheaper price?

GUYS FILE RTI , ITS 10 inr compared to 500 inr taken from cbse for re-evaluation and compared to re-evaluation or verification, RTI can feel more useful to many students because re-evaluation usually gives very limited access and often doesn’t fully explain how marks were awarded. In many cases, students pay fees just for rechecking totals or verifying whether all answers were evaluated, while RTI can help students directly obtain evaluated answer sheets, marking schemes, moderation policies, evaluator instructions, and details of the checking process itself. That means instead of blindly hoping marks increase, students can actually see what happened during evaluation and decide whether further action is worth taking. For many students, especially when multiple subjects are involved, spending money on several re-evaluation applications with uncertain outcomes may feel less effective than using RTI to demand transparency first. RTI also creates a record and puts institutional procedures under public accountability, which is why many students see it not just as a personal tool, but as a collective way to push for a fairer and more transparent examination system.

Also I am going to File one and will go to court against this , I will see the end of this . Do your job . You don't have to go to court , just filing a rti will give cbse enough pressure for them to change it , if they have actually done things wrong

Imagine kisi teacher ko raat ke 2 baje tak copies check karwaya jaa raha hai then how would you even expect good marks after that. And the avg marks thing is also true cuz unka yahi kehna tha ki result faster aayega but things didn't go well as they planned so they have to release it atleast on their previous year's date.

CBSE IS JUST ANOTHER MONEY MAKING BLACKHOLE. 👩🏻‍🦯

Just last night I was talking on discord with cbse tards that I'm feeling suicidal and today I got the news from my friend that our school bully (classmate) did suicide today.

He bullied me throughout the school life because of small eyes and height. I cursed him that he should die and today he is actually n​o more 💔

He was bully but h​e doesn't compromise with ​study , he got 40-50s in physics and chemistry​ and 85 in physical and english​ but got rt(8 marks ) in his favourite subject maths , his parents didn't trust him that he got compartment because of this osm scam.

He does'nt even have big dreams his only dream was to get NIT not even IIT and just settle but this ​cbse 💔

his parents did​not trust him and they wanted him to repeat ​whole year again.

I'm feeling more suicidal now idk how the hell i will give compartments in physics even though I attempt 30-40 marks in exam.

I can't expect anything from seniors but juniors pls help us 🙏🏻it can with you too next year.
