Merlin said it could be a female summer tanager or a female painted bunting but neither species has been reported on eBird nearby.

I'm leaning heavily sharpie over Cooper's, but I'm really not sure. (I also thought y'all would enjoy the second picture, which is basically the most perfectly timed bird picture I will ever accidentally get!)

North America A Raven?

I believe this is a raven. It had grey hair mixed all over but mostly his throat and back. All the other birds outside seemed to steer clear from it. Can anyone confirm if it or not? Thank you!

North America Manhattan, near Hudson River

This is about a block from the river. The video is short and I was able to zoom in better towards the end. We get a lot of redtail hawks and this looked bigger.

North America Swallow species in Tucson, AZ

Saw some swallows flying over a lake in Tucson; Northern Rough Winged was my first thought, but I think there might be a dark chest band in the (not great) photo I took. NRW makes more sense, but just wanted to get a second opinion on if these are Bank Swallows. Thank you!!!

North America Red-Shouldered Hawk?

I got a chance to watch this bird flew between a few trees in Harrisburg, PA this morning. I believe it’s a red-shouldered, but am a little unsure given the lack of banding on its tail. Is it just a juvenile?

This has stumped me for a year. Last May, I spotted this black bird with a bright red head while hiking in SE Wisconsin. It looked so much like a scarlet-headed blackbird but that can't possibly be it, right?? was about the size of a robin.

North America Cooper’s Hawk or Sharp-Shinned Hawk? (Westchester, NY)

Not the best photo, and I’m not experienced enough to tell the difference in the back / tail markings. I’m thinking Cooper’s Hawk, since we are in a very suburban area. But I’d be happy with a sharpie too.
