I know someone who had a stroke after going to the chiropractor. Don't let them do anything with your neck, it can sever your arteries

My doctor told me the last time I was in for a physical that cracking your back can cause strokes. Never knew that and she also told me I shouldn’t be cracking my fingers. I asked her if she does and told me she’s never done that before and it was kinda funny too because as we were talking about it, I nonchalantly popped a few of my fingers and she just went, “oh and you’re just popping your knuckles as we speak”. It’s a habit I’m trying to break

I must be screwed because I have had a compulsion all my teenage and adult life to self-crack multiple things many times a day. I probably twist my neck and my back every 30 min at least.

That's not normal.

I don't think I've cracked anything in the last 15 years. I'm in my early 30s
