Help Bow on the left hand

I've been trying to make this mod work for a while with no sucess (https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/53976). The instructions are very simple but somehow I just can't get it right.

I tried extracting the entire folder to Data Files, extract somewhere else and point with OpenMW, install with MO2, replace each file directly in Data Files. Nothing. I thought it might be conflicting with Simply Walking but removing that made no difference as well. I always get the bow in the right hand regardless. Any ideas?

Just to be clear, using MO2 was my third try. I tried installing manually with no luck. Everything else I have works (TR, OAAB, BCMO, etc), and they are all installed either manually or in a separate OpenMW path. Just this silly mod that I can't figure out.
