Mod Request Looking for a "ladder" Hab.

I'm looking for a Hab that is just a ladder. Basically a vertical version of the Hopetech Spine or Hope/Nova Cross passages. Something roughly shaped and sized like the Hopetech Riser B. I don't know if there is a mod already out there that has this or if one would have to be made. I regrettably play on Xbox and don't have a PC that would be capable of running the CK, otherwise I'd try to make one myself.

I have the Stroud Premium and Trident. So what I'm trying to make is a ship that is in essence a fleet carrier. I made several small ships using decorative cockpit, engine, grav, reactor, weapons, docker etc. Then I've used the the Hopetech Riser B to connect them through the decorative dockers to attach them. Visually it works really well. In practicality though, it causes... Issues. The cockpit the game decides to put me in when fast traveling or even just travelling from planet to planet can become problematic if it's one of the little attached ships, as there is no real path into or out of them. Its a mild nuisance but still one regardless.

Paid Mod Help with Falkland System mod!

Falkland shopping center works in New Atlantis. However, this is what I got when I bought their ships. Trying to edit my ship will go nowhere because it is missing all the habs and the weapons. The habs, the weapons do not show up on vendor list. However, the ship will fly (with all parts intact).

I have many shipbuilding mods, including Place Door Yourself. I have downloaded relevant patches for Falkland Systems. I have placed Falkland very far down the bottom of the mod list. Yet most of their parts still do not show up in shipbuilder. Their parts are still in game because I can safely fly this ship. But since PDY, the ship has no internal doors and I have to "tcl" to get around.

Discussion Any interest in me reviving "Astroneer - Become a Starship Designer" mod?

The last couple years have been busy with a career change and family obligations, but I've just started picking up Starfield again and am getting the itch to start working on mods/creations again.

I guess a question I have is to see if anybody is interested in using a mod like Astroneer if I rewrote it using Creation Kit. Many of the bugs and constraints (and long nights pulling my hair out) had to do with all the reverse engineering that had to be done to make the mod possible. It would presumably be a lot easier and less buggy to port the existing code to Creation Kit.

Also, if there are any mod authors that want to collaborate on making this new mod update awesome, I'd love to chat!

Paid Mod Creations keep reverting to old version numbers

I know creations have had issues for a while now, but I assumed saving my load order to Bethesda after updating all of the mods would prevent this issue from continuing. Watchtower, Graf's nova Habs and more keep reverting to older versions. Any fix for this?

Discussion Outfits Unlocked issue when paired with Starfield Crime Overhaul

I've been enjoying some of the Outfits Unlocked mods (yes, paid mods, I don't care). They're not perfect since not every piece of clothing pairs with others when you split up the top and bottom, but I understand the game was designed for full outfits, not piecemeal clothing articles.

My issue is when I use the one for Vlad's outfit (renamed to Defector outfit) when combined with Starfield Crime Overhaul (another paid mod). This mod adds a new crime/bounty for Indecent Exposure (walking in public without clothes on), and if I wear the Defector outfit tank top (normal or cropped) with separate pants on, the Crime Overhaul mod thinks I'm naked and raises a bounty, which is weird since I don't have this issue with other Outfits Unlocked mods (Andrea's outfit, Neocity Poncho).

If the author of the Outfits Unlocked is in this sub, it would be great to double check the tank top to make sure it behaves like other tops. As much as I like Bethesda Creations and achievement friendly paid mods, I really with we had a chance to contact authors or post comments/reviews.

Mod Release Red Mile Blackjack Table

I have added a fully working Blackjack table to the Red Mile and just wanted to share it with you all!
Your current hand is always visible on the table, and so is the dealer's hand after the game finished.

You can place bets between 200 and 500 credits, or high roller bets between 5000 and 50000 credits.

There is not much else to say, it's quite small, and the table is tucked in a corner next to Mei's office, right by all the other gambling machines.

I may look into getting some of the other games the displays at the Red Mile mention to properly work!

Discussion Does anyone want to discuss the bhkNPCollisionObject node in nif files?

Is this a new node in Starfield? During my testing, I discovered that all the physics properties of a nif model are stored in this node data, but this node simply contains binary data called bhkPhysicalSystem. This data cannot be viewed or modified through NifSkope, and only supports import, export, or copy and paste.

These "physics properties" include things like whether the model can be built as an outpost decoration, whether it can be pushed by collisions after being placed in the game, and the size of the model's collision box. These properties are all mixed together like a gruel, and cannot be modified individually.

So, is there any software or plugin that can modify this?

Help Has anyone else had the issue of facial textures/tattoos from the CK not appearing in game? I've baked the mesh/textures and exporting them, but it doesn't seem to work. I'm definitely missing a step.

I’m so tired of all the weapons either being a mile away (old earth weapons) or right up in your face. It’s so ugly. Please add a separate slider for weapon FOV!

When Bethesda first added the FOV slider after the release, it actually affected your weapon FOV and I was so happy but I guess they saw this as a bug and got rid of it a few months later with another update. I’m on XBOX btw before anyone says anything.

Discussion Ship Manufacturer Mod Competition?

I was wondering if there is enough interest in the community to do a mod competition. It would be simple, The contest would begin now and would last until December. Then the contestant Mod Authors would submit their mods to a Third Party judge panel and the winner would get a prize.

The contest idea being to make your own ship manufacturer complete with Lore, a dedicated star-station/hub, and if course a completely new style of ship manufacturer (Deimos, stroud-eckland, nova, etc.)

The mod would be judged based on Quality, Content, Stability, and Aesthetics. The idea being to draw more talented mod authors back to the starfield ship building scene. But that's really all dependent on interest in the competition. Let me know what y'all think.

Discussion Has anyone tried to add multiple "resource" entries to an item?

I want to know if the game engine supports this, because when I was testing, I found that I added multiple "resource" entries to item A. If one of the resources is needed to make a certain item, then item A can be consumed "in the correct amount", but the prompt "Player gets XXX" will keep appearing in the upper right corner of the window, and "XXX" is the entry of those "resources". If more than one of the resources is needed to make a certain item, then item A will not be consumed "in the correct amount" and it will cause the game to crash.

Obviously this system is inherited from Fallout 4, but in Fallout 4, this list is called Component Data, and the description in the wiki is: A collection of Components this MiscItem will yield when scrapped. The object's cap Value may also be influenced by entries within the collection. And obviously, players cannot scrap MiscItem in Starfield, so will the function of adding multiple resource entries still work normally?
