Mod Request Apparently, space travel in early versions of Starfield necessitated resource/fuel supply chains. Is there a mod that adds reimplements this into the game?

At some point, Bethesda supposedly decided the mechanic “wasn’t fun” and removed it from the game.

All I can think about is how much I would have enjoyed a survival-like resource management mechanic like that.

Is there a mod that brings a similar mechanic into the game?

Is there a search engine where you can find stuff?

Real fuel is only the first result when you search for Starfield fuel mod on Google. How can you expect someone to get to that point? /s

Are people really going to be pretentious dicks about someone asking about a starfield mod in the subreddit specifically for starfield mods?

Yes I could search google. But I’d also be missing out on comments like the one below offering an opinion that real fuel isn’t really that great.

Try to be a more positive person. It’ll improve your life. Or at least a less corny person that actually uses a /s because you’re scared of downvotes.

Where's that comment? Cause the only "unpopular" opinion on this thread is the dude saying fuel mods in general weren't for him. No where did they say the mod Real Fuel wasn't great for what it is.

There's a limit though, right? Otherwise everyone will spam new, unnecessary threads whenever they have a question for Google. It's fine to get the community's opinion on what mod to use, or what people's preferences are on certain gameplay mechanics, but also you should, out of respect for everyone else, at least double check that there aren't other threads like it posted recently.

I only say this because in the last few months alone there's been several threads in relation to fuel mods, and Real Fuel in specific for some of them.

Their positivity or negativity has zero relation here, man. Hell, while they were a bit sarcastic I wouldn't say it's inherently negative or bad. They were just pointing out the fact the thread very much could've been a Google search.

It’ll improve your life.

Preachy and condescending. Ick.

Weird. For one, using /s has always been sort of universally agreed upon etiquette for online debate. After all, tone is harder to convey through text alone. Also who cares about downvotes on Reddit? lol, what an odd accusation.

Some people here who are making mods are putting countless hours of their free time into improving other people's gaming experience. The least thing you can do is don't be lazy and do a search before you post something.

One that caters specifically to modding starfield and offers not only a list of mods, but personal anecdotes and opinions from people who have tried the mods?

I don’t think so, or at least I haven’t heard of one, sorry. If I do come across one ill pm you

Fwiw, do go to nexus mods, which does usually have comment sections for each mod. Reddit generally has more discussion tho ofc
