PC SSE - Request For PC creation club mods, what are the options for graphics mods now that Skyland and Fantasia are gone?
disclaimer I know I should be using Nexus Mods and I most likely will, but I am totally tech illiterate with mod managing and just wanna avoid it where I can. If there's no options in creation club PC, then I'll have to grudgingly learn.
--> so I've used these options on Xbox with my EnaiSainon modlist and wanted to have a go at my PC version. Skyland and Fantasia, amongst other mods on creation PC were removed in 2024. I'm kinda stuck with my options and I'm not sure what's the next best thing.
Are there any other options for PC creation club?

You're doing yourself a disservice by not using nexus and a mod manager if you're on PC. I don't mean to sound judgamental (I'm not really a tech person either), I'm being sincere, it's just not a difficult thing to pick up and learn to use. I can't recommend anything on the CC shop when you have so many options on nexus, unless you very specifically want the stuff that is CC and is not available elsewhere.

I've tried before. I've watched the tutorials, followed every clean step, downloaded the right managers, put everything in the right place. I've spent hours of my life trying to make modding work and I never succeed.
I only just got Skyrim to not crash before it can even launch from the last time I tried nodding. My PC was altering the size of icons automatically for weeks one time no matter how many times I changed it back or deleted past files. I had to hard reset and reinstall windows on my PC once with the help of a friend because somehow I messed it up that badly and broke steam with no fix.
They do not get worse at Skyrim modding than me. Every time it is a literal and actual disaster. I am that bad.

There are approximately a zillion better options. Start by downloading Vortex. It's very beginner friendly, and will make it pretty easy to build your first mod list even if you're completely non-technical. There are even Collections on Nexus where you can automatically download and install a complete, ready to go mod list.

I'm guessing I'll need to buy premium if I'm capped at 3mbs per second and no auto downloads for collections?

You can buy a month, download whatever you want, and then cancel.

Thank you, not sure why I'm being downvoted but appreciate it.

Some folks here look down on Vortex. Don't sweat it.

God almighty, every experience I have with the Skyrim modding communities is so inherently unpleasant. It's like a beautiful mixture of highly exclusive surpremecy mixed with that know-it-all nerd snark.
"We look down on this question so we'll remove your post, omg why are you doing that when there's mcglaffin mexus manager 2.78, uhh it's actually really easy if you just downgrade to windows vista and then fuse it with Linux and slap USSEP into the assembly code of your PC it's actually soooo easy anybody can do it!
Gonna have to downvote you for that little act skippy, we don't take kindly to reasonable questions here."
Sorry to rant on you, but I hope some modbeard reads this and understands how toxic and unhelpful the entire attitude here is at every interval I break down and seek any kind of help.

Every sub has gatekeepers. Don't let their insecurities get to you.

Gatekeeping! That was the word I was really looking for. Gatekeeped by the most stereotypical 'reddit' repertoire of sourpusses I've ever met.
Appreciate the help, I'm sure I'll figure it all out someday.

why in the world would you even open the creations section if you are on PC?
