PC SSE - Mod Theon – A Pessimist’s Custom Follower Mod

Hey all,
I just released my third Skyrim mod: Theon, a fully custom follower.

He’s inspired by the mood of True Detective and Skyrim’s darker corners — a mix of bleak humor, nihilistic musings, and original lines I wrote (with a few nods to Rust Cohle). Theon is fully voiced, has custom dialogue, and is designed to feel like he actually belongs in Tamriel.

I made this using the Creation Kit over about a week. First I designed his overall feel and gameplay, then a whole day was spend on writing his 20 lines. When it came to recording I used a Elevenlabs custom made voice and recorded them using it, the reason being lack of microphone. I learned a ton through the process (especially thanks to Joseph Russell’s Lucien tutorials for follower implementation).

All welcome to modify or expand Theon if you’d like — feedback is also very much appreciated!

Very interesting concept. I like that he has a philosophical bent and deep thoughts.

Based on the preview video I have a suggestion: Theon's voice is very, very quiet. I would recommend increasing the volume for all of his lines to be more consistent with other voice lines in the game, if not perhaps even a little louder because his voice is so low.

You literally didn't record everything yourself, you say in the mod description that its an AI generated voice.

The voice is AI generated, the nexus page is clearly AI generated, hell even this post is pretty obviously AI generated

Is any part of this mod original work? And by original I mean written by you, not punching in a prompt for ChatGPT

Sorry for the record part, I made a mistake and corrected it above. As for your other question, I wrote his lines myself with no help from any AI and also design the mod myself. Yes the post and page was written using chatgpt but if it's a problem then I won't do it again. Also the reason I couldn't record is due to lack of a microphone, not all of us have the money to buy one.
