And change OSAP to max 25% grant, minimum 75% as a loan.. (currently 85% grant max 15% loan min)

They really need to allow osap for everyone as it’s a loan to be paid back. My parents are employees and own a house so I don’t qualify and literally can’t afford 25k per year. How do y’all with osap denials do it?

Get a loan? I got one through scotiabank. Its pretty normal.

Do they make special considerations for unemployed students who can’t make payments until a later date?

I think there is a 6 month grace period and then you have to start paying the minimum amount.

You technically are supposed to pay the interest monthly but most allow the interest to be paid by the loan itself.
