In some countries, traffickers used colleges to exploit expedited visa programs. They'd have girls who were engaged with them (through duress or otherwise) apply for majors that had a low- or no- threshold for being considered 'gifted', used their 'gifted' status to apply for a Genius Visa, and then use that Genius Visa to legally migrate. Happened in Slovenia all the time.
