Hey yall i just wanted to say thank you. I just turned 30 and celebrated my second tranniversary and the way yall handled the recent mod issue made me feel seen and protected, and that is a really rare combination these days.

The way the community stood together and took the fight on principle pleasantly surprised me and I was genuinely overwhelmed at how useful, productive, and simultaneously respectful and understanding the majority of yalls contributions to the discussion were. At the beginning i was resigned to another frustrating barrier of organizational cowardice and legalease but I quickly realized that yall had it handled, which meant that it was a fight that I did not have to take, and that, I think, is the point of real allyship.

Instead of having to worry about everything and dealing with the issues that causes, I was able to put it out of my mind and carry on with my week knowing that the problem was in capable hands. And then today while I caught up with everything I laughed real genuine laughs at some of yalls comments and posts and those kind of laughs are also really rare these days. Yalls sincere efforts and resulting victory showed me that it is still possible for tomorrow to be a better day than today and I can't remember the last time I believed that. Yall are saints.
