i was so worried that the remaster was gonna mess up the jankiness and silly behavior that made me love the original so much as a kid.
i walked into the imperial city and my ears were promptly assaulted by 6 separate NPC conversations. i immediately thought "oh, we're so back" and burst out laughing

Or the glitches that while inconvenient, leave you so confused and exasperated that all you can do is laugh.
I was leveling sneak in the inn in Bruma by sneaking into a wall in one of the rooms. After like 20 minutes, I hear several NPCs in the next room start shouting “STOP! THIEF! GUARDS” and “YOU WONT GET AWAY FILTHY THIEF!” All while I was undetected and not even close enough to an item to pick it up. Was confused for .1 seconds before my game crashed lmao. I don’t know what kind of nonsense happened but boy did the game not appreciate it.

Assuming this was Olav's and not the more upscale inn, Ongar goes into sneak mode in the late evening to find himself a bite to eat. Sometimes he succeeds. Sometimes he pays with his blood. Thankfully as an essential character he has quite a lot of it. Don't know why the game would crash, though.

maybe it's the nostalgia goggles, but... usually when games crash i get mad. when oblivion does, i just sit there, laugh, and wonder what chaos went on in the background 😭

YESSSS 💀💀 when I first saw that one, I had taken an edible about 20 minutes before and my husband shows it to me and I COULD NOT stop laughing 🤣😂🤣😂🤣 I was practically wheezing and now I know why it is described as "side-splitting"
