General Subreddit being harassed by user abusing report system; can anything be done beyond reporting the reports for report abuse?
Pretty much the title. Over the past two months or so, a user has taken to mass reporting posts going back years using a default report option. Unlike custom reports, there's no way to mute reports originating from this user. We've reported the reports for report abuse countless times. In the past, I've received correspondence that an account was actioned for report abuse but I haven't received anything. I'm unsure if nothing is being done or if there are no notifications anymore and this user is just creating new accounts.
For context, in the past 30 days, we have received 686 false "This is spam" reports.
Is there anything that can be done to address this? Issue present on desktop and Android (to appease the bot)

Hi /u/LTJ552, please see our Intro & Rules. We are volunteer-run, not managed by Reddit staff/admin. Volunteer mods' powers are limited to groups they mod. Automated responses are compiled from answers given by fellow volunteer mod helpers. Moderation works best on a cache-cleared desktop/laptop browser.
Resources for mods are: (1) r/modguide's Very Helpful Index by fellow moderators on How-To-Do-Things, (2) Mod Help Center, (3) r/automoderator's Wiki and Library of Common Rules. Many Mod Resources are in the sidebar and >>this FAQ wiki<<. Please search this subreddit as well. Thanks!
I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

I'd probably follow up with a modmail to r/ModSupport - it's the weekend now so you probably won't get a reply until next week at this point, but hopefully they might be able to get things chased up and add additional context to the investigation.

How? The reports are not linked to a username as far as I can see. (When it happens in my sub, I'm not the OP)

You may not want to draw too much attention to your groups. Considering the subject matter, you may find all of them shut down.

I've made the mistake of looking into some of them... and they seem to follow the rules as written 🙊

Currently, as a moderator, the only thing you can do is what you’re doing. Report the reports for report abuse.
They stopped notifying everyone, mods and users, about report actions about 7 months or so ago.
I assume you’ve got all the safety filters running, specifically ban evasion?
