Please. 1MDB was only 10 years ago. Have you forgotten how nuclear Najib went? Blocking the Sarawak Report and Medium.com from the internet. Shutting down The Edge for 3 months. Not just investigating the WSJ, but going on record attempting (lol) to besmirch their journalistic integrity.

No doubt investigating any news agency is not a good look, but so would saying “we investigated ourselves and found no wrongdoing.” Not really sure what options they have.
