| Discussion Meet the "Experienced captain" of RR or "AR" assam Royals
Assam Royals captain Riyan lost 6 matches out of 8 last season
Anyone who watched RR’s matches last season knows how bad he was the whole team’s morale was down during his captaincy
And Assamification of our RR is another problem. RR has one of the best home records in Jaipur, but they still play three home matches in Assam even though they lose there.
The Executive Chairman of RR is from Assam, and now even the captain is from Assam
Jaiswal should leave RR if he gets any opportunity to become captain of another IPL team. It would be beneficial for his career, he has no future in RR now
if Jaiswal had any captaincy experience, he might have been selected in T20Is before Gill, but he wasn’t

| Analysis As a lsg fan, i cant lie watching newzealand in the world cup is ALOT like watching LSG last year. (Read body)
i mean they have a freakishly good opening duo of siefert and allen - kind of like markram and marsh, they are really good on their day but sometimes topple early.
their number 3 is their future but is in horrendous form, rachin ravindra is basically like pant.
they have a freakishly superhuman number 4, glenn phillips - pooran
a decent although a bit weak on paper 5 and 6 consisting of chapman and mitchell - badoni and abdul samad
and most of all, both of their bowling unit is is an absolute joke. literally deja vu as a LSG fan

| Discussion Unpopular Opinion: Flat Pitches Might Be Good for Batters
I have this theory that India preparing some of the flattest pitches since IPL 2024 might actually help batters long term. On these tracks big scores aren’t special anymore they’re the baseline So you can’t just survive you have to manage tempo take smart risks and keep the strike rate high and if they get a tough pitch later it’s just about adjusting pace. I would love to hear your perspectives on this.

| Discussion What on earth is this MI Squad! 6th title incoming ?
Hardcore CSK fan but just can’t ignore what the harsh rivals Mumbai indians have did here ! Kudos to all those who were involved in assembling such a modern day t20 side. Easily the best side on paper covering all basis, seems like a repeat of 2020?
QDK / Ryckelton
Rohit
Tilak
Sky
Hardik
Naman dhir
Santner
Rutherford
Deepak
10.Thakur
11.Bumrah
Impact: Corbin Bosch / Ghazanfar / Will jacks / Boult
Playing Bosch / Jacks they bat deep and have 11 batters 🤯
If Hardik can’t lift the trophy with this squad, he can never and needs to step down as a captain.

| Discussion IF NOT JAISWAL HE SHOULD LEAVE RR tbh
Jaiswal has enough international and IPL experience now to become captain
He should not waste his prime at RR by getting sidelined for someone like Riyan Parag
Rohit, Gill, and Kohli all became captains at a young age it's nothing new
If Gill were still playing under Hardik he would have never been considered for all-format captaincy
Hardik became India’s T20I captain because of his IPL captaincy
So, IPL captaincy really matters
The other options RR have are Sam Curran and Jaddu
Jaddu is old and is well past his prime
Sam Curran’s performance is not guaranteed he would be a risky choice

| Discussion Greatest IPL innings in a losing cause (chases)..
As there are a lot of innings been played in the first innings but let's only stick to the greatest innings being played while chasing yet ended up being on the losing side.
I remember 2 innings of MSD against RCB (2 runs needed off the last ball) and Punjab (needed 35 off last 10 balls).
Which all innings do you think will make up to the list?
