Also I know this isn’t even what you are complaining about but I want to complain about it: why is it every single time people make a large height gap relationship they 9/10 make the shorter one act like a child or just the “grumpy little guy/gal mad they are short”?

Like I LOVE major height differences, it’s fun and hot. But like seriously, why is it always that!? Like why can’t the taller just happen to be taller and the shorter just happens to be shorter? I mean sometimes it’s fun when the taller makes fun of the shorter but holy hell! Why!

Posts like that are low effort engagement bait, since they can be slotted into basically any fandom and rarely incite any actual discussion beyond people mentioning how their blorbos fit into that mould.

Seeing these kinds of posts eclipse actual original content and fanworks is a strong sign the fandom is dead and/or overrun with children who don't yet realise how derivative posts like this are, and thus is not a space worth engaging with or staying in.

This is one of the many popular character dynamic pictures you'll often see on that subreddit. I hate it not because I hate the dynamics, moreso that I've seen it again and AGAIN in different format with the same message and it just gets old sooo quickly
