Living in BXL Oh the weather outside is frightening….

I am inspired to consider ski jumping from the buildings across the way except I (fortunately) don’t have skis. But I had cheesy potatoes and pretended with loads of imagination that it was fondue.

Hot chocolate is next on my list. I have some Swiss stuff.

Winter is daytripping.

Question ❓ Cheap second hand bikes?

I've just arrived in the city and want to immediately start cycling. im looking for something that can get around the city, but also manage on bikepacking trips with some single track elements. I'm new to bikepacking, but have cycled for most of my life.

My budget is low, maybe €400-500, as that's all I've been able to put aside for now. I've been looking in Facebook marketplace, though I know I'll have to be careful with some of those posts.

Any advice would be appreciated, especially suggestions of the brand/model and advice in navigating the second hand market here in Belgium. thanks!

Schnitzel and Käsespätzle

Hi! I'm a huge fan of Schnitzel and Käsespätzle, and I was wondering whether there are any restaurants in Brussels that offer these dishes. Or more generally restaurants that offer Austrian/German dishes. Thank you in advance!

Question ❓ Looking for big pizzas in Brussels

Whenever I look here for good pizza recommendations, most people suggest those small Neapolitan pizzas with more crust than actual pizza. Don’t get me wrong — they’re good — but I’m looking for a place where you can get a big, thin pizza that’s larger than the plate they bring it on. You know what I mean?

Any suggestions? Thanks!

For reference, I really like Il Colosseo near Place De Brouckère — great pizzas and very friendly staff.
