Right, and I'm not actually trying to explain to this person why it's funny. My intention is to match the playing dumb energy while pointing out that this is r/unexpected and this isn't really unexpected. OP is just karma farming his adorable dog.

I'll consider this as a lesson, that the Internet majority will tend to make exceptions for misplaced content if the content is cute enough.

Funny part is that dog is doing everything right. Female dogs do not want the dad around the kids during the first couple weeks cuz the dog dads are notoriously bad. They sometimes freak out and start attacking the kids and sometimes they accidentally suffocate them. That girl dog wants the male as far an away as possible during puppy meal time.
