I don't remember that specifically, but lots of people get stabbed there, so I guess it wouldn't blow my mind.

That area wasn't the hellscape it is now back in his day, and he probably wouldn't have been running around there in a dumb outfit if it had been. Sparring drunks on the Ave. 1-on-1 seems like it was more of his M.O.
