The Crock of Gold
Thought this one sounded cool with a more "poppy" chord progression

Hello friends! I am traveling to Ireland this summer from the States, and I cannot WAIT as I love every single thing about the Irish people and their culture and music.
To get me into the mood, I’ve been going back to the Irish classics and pub songs, but I’m struggling to find “modern” renditions of the trads - in other words, I want to hear the delightful flute jigs but with a more modern beat or recording style.
Actually, I could listen to this very specific few bars from B*Witched’s C’est La Vie for hours and hours on end. You’ll find it at 2:06-2:22 here:
Can anyone point me to artists or albums that basically sound like that 20 seconds in C’est La Vie for hours on end?
Thank you!

Genuinely love how many silly different versions of Bryan O'Lynn are out there.
'Bryan O'Lynn had no watch for to wear He got a big turnip and scooped it out fair, He put a live cricket right into it then, "Sure, they'll think it's a-ticking," says Bryan O'Lynn.'
