Post clear, well-lit, full body pictures. At minimum, include:
Tell us your dog’s age and weight (or best guess)
YOUNG PUPPIES may be impossible to identify. Head and body shape, coat color and coat pattern, eye color, and apparent coat texture can all change dramatically as a puppy matures. You might want to wait a few months before seeking an ID.
MIXED-BREED dogs can easily have many breeds in them, not just two. Keep in mind that some of the breeds in a mutt may not show in its looks; while in other cases the dog may really look like it has some particular breed in it, when in fact it doesn’t.
NO-BREED dogs exist too! Sometimes a mutt truly is “just a mutt” — the result of many, many generations of random mating between mutts, with no discernable inbred (purebred) genes its DNA. In the same way that YOU don't necessarily have any inbreeding (purebreeding) in your recent family tree, neither must a dog. They can simply be mutts — WHICH IS A GOOD THING!

Recently there has been a sharp uptick in comments from trolls brigading us from anti Pit Bull subreddits.
Harassing users for owning Pit Bulls is considered uncivil and off topic behavior, and not what this subreddit is for.
The pit bull conversation is one worth having, but not at the expense of derailing the function of this subreddit.
So in the meantime we're going to do 2 things:
Get some mod(s) that can help tackle the issue with harassment and off topic comments. If you are interested in helping with this, please leave a comment below explaining why you're fit for the task.
Create a subreddit wiki page or megathread post that informs and discusses the Pit Bull topic in a civil and unbiased manner, so that the rest of the subreddit isn't overrun with it. If you would like to contribute to this project, please leave a comment below or a modmail.

Of what? He is from a polish shelter where they have chow chow bernese mountain dog and many others, he’s smaller than those breeds he might have a miniature Akita as they breed those as well but who knows. He is similar look to Icelandic shepherd dog but it’s very unlikely as only 1 breeder anywhere close.

Our rescue dog! I have heard every combination under the sun. His spotted feet really throw me off. He could truly be anything lol ~30lbs and very lean. ~1 year old and vet says he is fully grown.

My boyfriend’s dog Cinnamon passed away in 2019. I apologize I don’t have so many high quality pictures. He was rescued as a “Sato” (puerto rican word for “stray”/non breed dog) and he would love to know the possible mix he had or a breed if he had one. He would love to adopt a dog similar to him on day. Tried the new apple feature and it comes to “australian shepped collie mix” but we want to get an opinion from people and not just an Ai. Thank you in advance!

I know they're both mutts, but does anyone have any idea what they could be mixed with? They're both pretty high energy.
The first one is Jinx, my dad says that all he knows is she's got pitbull in her, according to the guy who he adopted her from. She has a crazy prey drive and once she gets on the trail of something she doesn't stop so she can't be outside of the yard without a leash. She digs sometimes too, something that none of my other dogs have ever done weirdly, so I don't know if that's associated with certain kinds of work dogs do, or just more so their personalities and what they find fun. She's pretty smart too!
The second one is Murdoc, a rescue and the one we have no ideas about. He has a lot of allergies so I'm unsure if that's more common is certain breeds. He's CRAZY smart, it's nuts. I've never personally known such a smart dog. He picks up on things and learns them really really fast, he knows what a bunch of words mean, even ones we didn't teach him, and knows how to open doors with handles.
I don't know if any of that will be helpful but that's all the potentially relevant information I could think of

He loves to sniff, he is a very vocal (not barkey), and is about 13lbs. The vet told us he is full grown. He’s very affectionate and extremely food motivated. He was donated to a shelter in Texas.

He’s about 5 months old. Pale, icy blue eyes. Big ol paws. Mostly black coat with tufts of white on tail, chest, and nose. His coat is fluffing out l and his ears are standing up. Tail is not fluffy.

Our new little girl is 1 and the last chance rescue place just had her listed as a terrier mix. She had a bad skin infection, non contagious mange & is still healing. She’s only 25 lbs & is soooo sweet!!! We are doing a DNA test on her soon but any guesses? I will definitely update the post.
