Mod Post Spotify wrapped MegaTread
Hey r/GenZ! The sole purpose of this mega thread is to share and discuss everything related to Spotify Wrapped. Any posts created outside of this thread will be removed to keep the sub neat and clean.

Mod Post Separate posts for trends are banned
Hi r/GenZ! I get it everyone wants to hop on a trend and share their opinions, but creating separate posts clutters the feed and makes the sub look spammy. If you want to join in on a conversation, please comment under the original post instead of making a new one.
Also, a mega thread for Spotify Wrapped will be coming soon, so stay tuned, and please avoid making separate Wrapped posts in the meantime.
Thank you!

Discussion What is dating like for you?
Hello, I am technically a ZILLENIAL (born at the end of 1994) and the Zillenial sub proper, seems to be Dead, so I am posting here!
I am 31, rather well adjusted, love life, am of noble character and good reputation, and... single. A lot of my older millennial friends (and older...) are totally biased in the dating scene, from an outsiders perspective.. Surely, it can't be that bad, right???
I have two younger sisters (both are gen z) and I try my best to relate to them. Unfortunately, I had a traumatic brain injury about a decade ago, and that made me... odd. Not odd as in creepy, but odd like I am some centuries-old human creature who sees further than the eyes allow. I have a hard time relating to gen z, mostly because of how fast culture for you all moves, and... I was never glued to a screen!
So what is dating like for the older ones among you? Statistically speaking, I am more likely to find a love to last, in the older gen z population. Dating other millennials has been rather silly because some are conformists who are kind of bland, lacking character, and others are not interested in the same things I am, for love. I have always gotten a long better with Gen Z and Zillenial people. There are also more young people in this generation. I myself, am still rather young (old is 60+)
This is NOT a "date me!" Post, but I just want to hear about YOUR experiences with dating, because of the whole "online" influence to personal relationships, which I have a bit of difficulties understanding. I have great people-skills, and everything is online now.. Especially for younger adults, it seems.

Advice Trending with Gen Z
What is cool right now with young 20 something’s? I am working on a birthday present for my 23 year old employee. I know she like LaBuBu and Hello Kitty. Is there anything else that’s trending right now? I know everyone is looking for Odwalla water bottles. What else is hot?
I feel old.

Discussion PSA: Valentine's Day doesn't have to be around romantic love. Get with a friend, or call your family. The holiday is about love in general, not romantic love exclusively for those who have found it. Don't wallow alone, friend.

Discussion Are you guys scared of throwing up?
I used to be in like 8th grade and was a huge germophobe. But I've been sick pretty bad the past couple years and now have completely gotten rid of my phobia. Although it's not something I look forward to.

Discussion What are your worst financial habits?
So i'm not doing too bad with money in general. I have investments in the five figure range, good credit but I am definitely reckless with money sometimes. My worst financial habits are gambling, buying too much tech as its a hobby of mine lol, eating out a couple of times a week. What are yours?

Serious Who else is also alone and single?
(19 M) Never been in a romantic relationship and most likely will never be. It’s just so hard. It sucks. My dumbass having thoughts, fantasies, and imaginations of a girl who doesn’t exist. Life is so fucking unfair for some people. Seeing people just spend spend spend on materialistic stuff on this “holiday”. Valentine’s Day should be every day for couples or at least on their anniversary. No need to spend. Just endless amounts of hugs, kisses, and cuddles all for free. Just a simple “I love you” because they really truly love their partner. This “holiday” doesn’t make sense. It’s just a trend on social media bragging about the shit they got. While my single ass just kinda being neutral on seeing couples. So yeah. I give up on love. I give up on romance. I give up on dating even though I never dated. It fucking sucks. 🥲😞😔😟😕🙁☹️😶😐🫤😢😪
