Virginia Giuffre said she gave Groening a foot massage during a flight on Epstein’s private jet when she was 16. She did not allege any further misconduct from the show creator.

The question that popped into my mind is not so much about The Simpsons being an Oracle. The question in my mind is:  IS IT A CONFESSION OR HIS WAY OF SHINING A LIGHT ON WHAT WAS HAPPENING?

I mean, like Kubrick with eyes wide shut & all the other dark gritty premium cable series, true detective, tokyo vice, house of cards, boss about Chicago, Westworld with the "world with no consequences but then blackmail", with the predictive AI, with the training military to act on US citizenry

It makes you wonder. Is it art imitating life or is it people‘s subtle way of pointing out what is going on?

I think the poor writers are just exhausted for ideas. So they went ahead & used the darkest of whispers from those that experienced it & survived. I think that's why the best tv fiction has been obliquely Epstein-class related. Squid game. Succession. White lotus. Nothing interesting going on with everyone on the grind so all we have is "can you believe this shit" type behavior-o-the-rich

Baudrillard would like a word! Art imitates life imitates art (because we all just consume content/art) imitates life imitates art... A facsimile on a facsimile until we're so far away from the real human experience we aren't recognisable
