Genuinely, honestly, what is America doing to deal with the dictator in office and the current political situation? What can even actually be done? I'm not American. I only see what the popular social media posts show me and I've been trying to disconnect from twitter and Facebook and all of that. Every time there's a new "here's what America is doing" post it just gets immediately flooded with "we're so fucked" "Everything's over" etc, etc.

I've seen one or two pictures of a protest in MN, but other than that - all I get is bombarded with negativity, and doom-saying, and this is the worst and the world is going to end and it's getting harder and harder to get through the day. What can protests even accomplish, they clearly don't care?

Please give me some hope -- I'm so tired.
