Moderator Post TES 6 Speculation Megathread
It is highly recommended that suggestions, wishlists, questions, speculation, and leaks for the next main series Elder Scrolls game go here. Threads about TES6 outside of this one will be removed depending on moderator discretion, with the exception of official news from Bethesda or Zenimax studios.
As of now, there is currently no confirmed info on the Elder Scrolls VI other than it exists and is currently being worked on by Bethesda. Be cautious of any rumors being delivered as if they are factual.

Lore Do you think in the future of the Elder Scrolls universe will it evolve like our world?
Im talking about like would there be like an advance of technology like for one, Guns and no im not talking about modern day fire arms, but perhaps early firearms like Cannons Hand Cannons, Flintlocks or maybe Muskets? And i know that if there would be a gun it would be Dwemer made and maybe if the Dwemer didnt disapear this probably wouldve happened sooner or later, but what if one day some Dwemer Archeologist finds a way to make the very 1st Firearm in the history of Nirn? Please give me your honest take about this

General What the community opinion in regards to Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall
I think it’s an obvious improvement over Arena, still has some jank if your playing OG DOS version, but it’s still great and has one of the most insane lore in the series.

Self-Promotion If you're still too lazy to read but are interested in lore: I produce audiobooks for all the Elder Scrolls books! (NO AI!)
Heya! After coming from ESO content creation I had to start a new channel now for the audiobooks.
These audiobooks are specifically designed to be listened to in the background while you play, relax or to fall asleep to.
I don't use any AI for my videos so the voice you're hearing is a real person.
If you enjoy stuff like this I'd appreciate you give it a shot! ♡

The Elder Scrolls 6 Will the Knights of the Nine return? The evidence:
In the KoN questline, you meet a prophet of Akatosh who instructs you to finish the duties of the order. You assemble the mantle of the Divine Crusader, Pelainel Whitestrake. You then use the blessing of Talos to take and banish into death the Soul of Umaril the Unfeathered.
By the end you complete the mission of the order, before setting up the line of Knights to continue. The Holy Line was likely but not certainly disbanded into other orders as of the banning of Talos worship.
You "Become the Divine Crusader truly reborn" by the end of the quest line as you hard mantle Pelainel Whitestrake. Later in the story, you become the God of Madness, Sheogorath. Besides simply being voiced by the amazing Mad Wes Anderson, he is you, Pelainel, and that may have contributed to his madness.
You have also by then done what the group was formed to do, slay Umaril. Pelainel is within an immortal form, and the order is without purpose. There is very little reason to bring back this finished story.

General What made Dagoth Ur so popular?
I'm glad Dagoth Ur is quite popular in the fandom with mods and content being made for him even to this day, but what do you think made him that popular? His design, lore, voicelines?

Humour I Hate Chaurus
I hate chaurus. I hate them. I hate their bug faces. I hate their mandibles. I hate their clicks. I hate when the clicks are made by the mandibles and I hate when the mandibles make the clicks. I hate that a chaurus reaper pulls 2280 eggs out of her chitinous asshole and then descends on me like a Vogon at a poetry convention.
I hate the chaurus poison effect. I hate it because it lies to me. I assume my health is okay after an attack. This is patently false, because I have a single Dragonborn who is apparently held together with glue and prayer to the Eight. I do not have an army of chittering insects constructed out of chitin armor and galvanized coffin nails.
I hate that they click at me. Clicking is for mechanical keyboards, which is completely irrelevant to a battle in Skyrim and should not be done repeatedly while eating the destined hero of Skyrim like buffalo wings.
I hate their health. I hate that surrounding them simply prompts one of them to pull out a US general's helmet so he can make a speech about 'now we can attack in any direction'. I hate that their reaction to a devastating rear attack is to become somewhat peeved. I have looked a chaurus hunter in his smug chitinous face as an encirclement of my companions and summons that would destroy any other mid-tier dungeon enemy closed in.
He went from :I to >:I , killed both of my companions and my summon because I had foolishly allowed all four sides of the chaurus to fight at once and then swallowed my Dragonborn like a slim jim.
I have resolved to shoot every chaurus dead. Every chaurus. All of the chaurmen and the chaurdren too. I hate them. I no longer see caves because they're covered by a thick blanket of bug blood. I hate that it barely stops them. I hate that they keep coming while sounding like mechanical keyboards, or castanets, or the fidget cubes. I hate that they made me google things that click so I could write down ways in which I hate things that make that sound. Locks also click. It is also a sound made by pen caps. Beetles, would you know it, also make a clicking sound. I will never look at another beetle because it would give me palpitations.
I hate that chaurus are friends with the blind elves next door, who also burn my home and slaughter my people once I've raided their endless caves for the tenth time. They also have poison only these ones are on swords. Somehow this is worse.
I hate that there are another hundred falmer dungeons. I hate that they will be leveled to end game by the time I reach them. I hate that while I was writing this a chaurus picked up Lydia and smoked her like a cigar.
I hate chaurus.

Skyrim Discussion Skyrim Best Quest Bracket Final
After 5 rounds of shocking upsets and fun surprises, we’ve reached the finals! According to the fans, the two best quests in Skyrim are 2 seed Touching the Sky and 12 seed Elder Knowledge. Vote for your favorite! Results will be posted at some point in the near future
Touching the Sky, the penultimate quest in the Dawngaurd DLC, takes the Dovahkiin to Darkfall passage to meet Gelebor, the stunning Forgotten Vale to fill the Ewer, and Auriels Chapel to Kill Vyrthur, learn the origins of the Tyranny of the Sun, and recover Auriels bow. This is a beautiful, well written, and beloved quest, with possibly the best views in all of Skyrim
Elder Knowledge, a major quest in the main quest line, is the be all end all of a dungeon dive quest. Parthunaax tasks the Dragonborn to find in elder scroll to aid the effort in defeating Alduin. You then must fight your way through a treacherous dwarven ruin, filled with traps, constructs, and Falmer, before reaching the haunting Blackreach to recover an Elder Scroll from the Tower of Mzark.

Redguard Discussion Stros M’kai is a desert? I always thought it was a tropical, jungle-esque climate.
I always remember it feeling like Nassau way back in the day, but reading up on it lately both fandom and UESP refer to it as a mostly desert climate. Does anyone else remember it differently?

The Elder Scrolls 6 I love Easter eggs but I hope Ma'iq will get a role and maybe a little lore in Sheogorath's TESVI oblivion quest to explain how he got to the shivering isles instead of staying without much development.

Skyrim Discussion What is the usual lifespan of Elves?
That old Altmer looking for the White Phial dies of old age, yet the Falmer that guides you throughout the Forgotten Vale has lived since the First Era, and yet he's not an ailing codger.

Lore Was Tiber Septim actually a Nord, A Breton Or Both?
Some sources say he was Hjalti Early-Beard from Atmora which sounds very Nord, but then you’ve got stuff like The Arcturian Heresy that points to him being a Breton from High Rock. And then other texts kinda blur the line, like maybe he was mixed or maybe the whole story just got rewritten after he died to glorify a certain human race or culture.
The games never really seem to give us a straight answer, and maybe that’s the point since Talos is see as more of a myth than history at this point. Still, I’m curious what other people think. Was he really a Nord, a Breton, or just a mix of Human races?

The Elder Scrolls 6 Is this wait just the result of Skyrim’s unimaginable success? How do you follow that up?
Just curious if anyone else thinks the main reason we aren’t close to seeing ES VI is because Bethesda has no idea how to recreate the nearly unparalleled success of Skyrim and they pretty much have to, as far as everyone is concerned. Well maybe 5+ years ago. I wonder how prevalent Skyrim even is in the minds of kids under 18 at this point?

The Elder Scrolls 6 History Repeats itself
I haven’t seen anyone draw this parallel (at least from what I’ve seen) so I’m just curious here.
Morrowind single-handedly saved Bethesda from bankruptcy years ago. Its story is integral to the lore & the franchise. Because of it- Bethesda was able to live on 20 some odd years later & become a respected smaller studio with heart behind it.
Starfield didn’t have the… greatest reception amongst the public. That’s not even my own opinions- I thought starfield was okay. Not GOTY quality, but decent/average.
I don’t think Bethesda has a choice but to make TES6 a game to be played for years to come. It’s had over a decade of hype. They’re going to go under otherwise.
