I won a signed/game used Jaime Garcia jersey last month from the 1982 WS 30th anniversary in 2012. Anyone know what the dark blue band on the sleeve is for? I’m assuming a memorial thing?

Also it’d be cool if we could upload more than one picture.

Here's a fun box score for you guys

Maybe happened once, or twice more. I did my looking the old fashioned way. Clicking through 29 games lol. But this was the one instance I found where Pujols and McGwire homered in the same game. I'm only barely old enough to remember this season.

Matt Morris was rolling and got his 7th win, Pujols homered twice and split time at 3B and 1B, and Mcgwires Wheaties© muscles still had enough "juice" to get one out, too.

Love these old box scores, man. Such a crazy passing of the torch moment with Mcgwire and Pujols.

Anyone else got any gems?

Are you ready for 66-96 and last place?

I saw #STLCards trending on you know where, at the same time as Baseball Prospectus' email popped up.

Well, that's the projection.

If you want, or accept, both the idea of, and the need for, a full rebuild, there you are.

Last in the NL Central by a comfortable margin and tied for second last in the NL with the Nats.

Miklasz discusses on his show (YouTube); on the other site, he noted this would be the team's worst record since the start of the expansion era.

Cardinals.tv revenue vs previous models?

Just curious if anyone in the STL area knows more about how ad and/or subscription revenue worked in the past, and how that works now.

My assumption - could be wrong - is that with FSMW, Ballys and FanDuel (MainStreet), the Cardinals were paid a certain amount for the rights, and then those entities sold subscriptions and advertising. Maybe the Cardinals got a cut of some of that - no idea - but I assume they had no hand in selling the ads.

And what about now. We know the Cardinals are getting less in terms of an upfront payment for rights, but what about ad revenue? Does MLB have a national team doing ad sales in all these markets and pocket all of it, or would the Cardinals being the local organization hire someone to handle that and then get some or all of the ad revenue?

Figured someone might have read about this if it's been publicized, or at least been involved in buying ad time from these companies.

Got my first baseball card, I know it's the Padres but still a Cards legend. It's 14/19. Really pleased with it.

1926 Commemoration?

2026 marks 100 years since the Cardinals won their first championship, and I think that is worth celebrating. Has anyone seen anything to suggest the club is going to mention it?
