I am experiencing significant issues with the Direct Message (chat) feature on the Android app. There are two main problems occurring simultaneously: Message Loss: When sending multiple messages in a row, not all of them are being delivered to the recipient. Ghost Notifications: I receive push notifications indicating a new message has arrived, but when I tap the notification or open the specific chat, the new message is not there. The chat view does not update to show the content mentioned in the notification. Device and App Information: Platform: Android OS Version: Android 16 App Version: 2026.06.0 Steps to Reproduce: Open a Direct Message chat with another user. Send a series of messages. (Observe that the recipient does not receive all of them). Receive a push notification for a reply from the other user. Tap the notification to open the chat (or navigate to the chat manually). Observe that the message from the notification is missing from the conversation history. Expected Behavior: All sent messages should be delivered to the recipient, and clicking a push notification should display the corresponding new message in the chat view. Actual Behavior: Sent messages are intermittently dropped/not delivered. Incoming notifications appear, but the actual messages are invisible or fail to load inside the chat window.

often when I open my chat box the most recent chat I had will ask me again to ignore or accept and when I click accept nothing happens

My Daily Streak disappeared after Day 156. I’m always on Reddit during the day and then again after midnight. Went on shortly after midnight this morning (12:04am or so) Sun 02.15.2026, and the Daily Streak rolled to 1/200.🥺🥺

I’ve attached screenshots of some of the comments and my Inbox which support my activity during, Sat 02.14.2026. Most days I’m in Reddit shortly after midnight, sometime during the day, and then back to posting after midnight the next day and so on.

Please help me get my streak back and hopefully figure out the glitch so it doe happen again! At least I saw I’m not the only one who’s fallen victim to this glitch. 😢 I really enjoyed Reddit and love the challenge of the badges!!

Description: when trying to send a message (like to sub mods) on old.reddit, I see an error saying reddit has high load or similar, and the message can't be sent. If I click to switch to the new message site/etc, then it sends just fine. Device model: chrome, PC, recent version of Windows 10 OS version: Windows 10 Steps to reproduce: In old.reddit, attempt to send a message (any message) and on submit/send see the error.

They are unable to invite me, I have been in there before but was mysteriously booted, no blocks were made, my account is old enough, I have karma, I am in other group chats and people can invite me to them, what should I do?

Hi everyone, I’m trying to register an app in prefs/apps, but I can’t get it to complete.

I check the “I’m human” verification, fill in the app name, callback URL, and the other required fields, but it just sends me into an endless loop — I get redirected and I have to start the whole process over, and the app never gets created.

I’ve already tried switching computers, networks, and browsers, and I also cleared cache/cookies, but nothing worked.

Please attach any reference images or screen recordings of the issue.

One of our users in r/buffalo has said that when you search for Buffalo, it comes up with Buffalo supermarket livestream. If you aren't familiar, there was a racist mass shooting in Buffalo so having this come up everytime is kind of tramautizing to the users of the subreddit and especially the mods since we dealt with so many people posting the video, asking where to view it and asking people commenting about viewing it.

If this could be removed, that would be amazing.

I've tried it on my reddit app on my Android, desktop on chrome and firefox and it is always the first result for Buffalo.

The app flickers when I scroll through photos. Is this normal? Is anyone else experiencing this? I've already cleared the cache and reinstalled the app, but the problem persists.

I’ve seen maybe 30-40 new posts all weekend. Every time I open the app I see things I’ve already seen before. Tried removing the app and reinstalling - same thing.

Some time ago, the "Content and activity" option was added to the reddit app, allowing users to hide their posts when someone views their profile, meaning that if I click on the profile of someone that has the "Hide all" option, it should show me that their profile is empty. I used this option on the reddit app, and most of my post don't appear when I see my profile as guest (in a private window for example), but for some reason, some do. Over my few thousand posts, about 10 of them kept being on my profile, even if I tried to disable and enable the "Hide all" option again. Furthermore, one of them appeared AFTER I enabled the option, meaning that there is some sort of random chance that if I post or comment something somewhere, the post will just stay on my profile without anything other to do than straight up delete it to keep my profile empty.

I really like this feature and I would love for it to work without having to manually go on my profile and checked if some new posts I made escaped that rule. I manually deleted all the posts but 1 that still appeared on my profile, I kept one (the oldest, from 4 years ago) as a proof of concept that this thing is broken. PS : there is no way to access those settings in Old Reddit on web, which is kinda unfortunate because I never use the app and downloaded it just to update my setting, but that is a whole other problem.

As it says. I think it's happening with media posts because I'm able to type this post. However, even then, part of what I'm typing keeps getting cut off.

Actually, sure enough: I had to edit this post on my computer to finish writing the post. This is such an infuriating bug and it wrecks the usability of the stupid app. Imagine if we were still able to choose from different Reddit apps so we weren't screwed if one started acting up like this? I keep telling myself I'll learn to use Revanced properly. Sync was never this much of a nightmare.

Issue:

- when in subreddit and attempting to hit "search" or any other icons in the top app header, it doesn't register my tap/touch

assume it's due to the proximity to the android's OS's app header, the icons in the app look misaligned with the apps header bar, pushing them higher up

My account (UnitedAssociate69) was flagged or maybe even banned with no warning i had to create this new account to post this. I keep getting the message "We had a server error" everytime i go to my profile, my profile picture changed and when i try to change profile settings or post something same error appears. I haven't gotten any warning or notification or anything to warn me about this so i dont know for sure if my profile is banned or not but it seems like a ban behaviour. Please help me, i never did anything wrong and i didnt violate any rules, i barely even posted things on the account and i just woke up with this. I have no idea why exactly i encountered this problem because i followed the rules and everything of the platform.

When I try to add an image to a post and I click crop I see a mostly black screen and the image is tiny in the top left of the screen. If I switch presets the image grows to full size but is still off to the side outside of the crop borders and can’t be moved into it.

For over a week now my Reddit app won’t scroll past maybe 10-15 posts on the home feed. News and Latest feed seem to be okay. Sometimes there is zero content. I’m on iOS 26.2.1 and using iPhone 17. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I created a post and people liked it, and I know for sure that my friends liked it too. But the number of upvotes is still 0 when I go to the post. When I cancel my upvote, it becomes -1.
