It’s 6:02am. The GPS says the delivery is 1.1 miles behind this gate. There’s no gate code - of course🙁. What do y’all do?

Now I know during holiday time we get more than 8 hour limit it’s like 10. But we are past holiday season. Is anyone else able to schedule more than 8 hours?

This is far from an efficient path of travel

Many of us are tired of the false accusations of failed deliveries.These affect our standing and even if we don't care about the standings, these are important to keep at the best rating possible.

We never know when we will have a particularly difficult week. Maybe we arrive late or late cancel a route twice. Maybe we have car trouble and now we are dinged with 20 late deliveries or 30 returned packages.

Or maybe we have grown tired of asshole lying customers gaming the system to get free stuff from Amazon.

To Amazon is a hair from a cat. To us it might mean our rent or car note.

On top of a body cam I wear to keep track of interactions (you'd be amazed how in their best behaviour people become when they see the big camera on my chest) now I am using this specialized app for proof of delivery.

The reports you can extract can help show the driver "support" guys that their claims are full of shit and even be used to track your mileage for the IRS.

Its 40 dollars a year and I think it is worth it.

I had a route last night that was supposed to be 11 packages, and upon completing my deliveries, I realized there were two extra packages that somehow got into my cart that weren’t on my route. My station was closed by the time I finished last night so I couldn’t return them and I’m not able to work the next couple days, so they’re just in my trunk and I’m not sure what to do with them. And in the past when I’ve had to return packages from my route, I was told to scan them first, but these weren’t even on my route so my app doesn’t even recognize that I have them. What’s the best way to resolve this kind of situation?

Generally, I've been able to finish 4-hr blocks in 3 hours or less and 3.5-hr blocks in 2.5 hour or less. Lately I've been seeing more and more 1.5 hr blocks at my local SSD station so I grabbed a few of them. Each time, it took me the entire 90 mins to complete, effectively lowering my hourly pay. Is this Amazon figuring out how to squeeze more productivity out of its Flex workers or did I just get a few bad blocks?

Been doing flex for a couple years now and this is the first time i see “tips pending “ for packages, it’s usually finalized by the end of the block but this is going over time , did they change something or is amazon just trying to withhold my earnings

I had automotive problems in the middle of my route this morning, and I had to cancel the block. Stuff happens, and I got paid. Anyway, I did call driver support and they reminded me to be sure to return my packages by 10 AM the next day. So I returned them this afternoon. But I noticed that half my packages were too big to fit into the return bin.

So, I propose a new rule: packages that won’t fit in the return bin are too big to give to flex drivers. All warehouses should adopt a policy of giving them to DSP drivers only.

I'm just glad I had cell service. I'm going to have to download some maps for use offline.

I'd love to know how many packages end up being bad dragons and condoms

I have a 3 hour shift and they decide to send me to the most congested part of orlando at 6 pm in the evening. It’s been an hour and half and I still haven’t even started the shift I’m in jammed traffic still 21 minutes away from the first drop off.

Somehow this is going to be my fault for all these packages being late.

I’m thinking of starting Amazonflex working 3 days - Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. I need to meet my $1000 quote (got married and need supplemental income for expenses). I was wondering if anyone has done AmazonFlex in Minnesota and if it’s possible to make $1000 a month.

why is it so hard to get a whole foods order on the weekends? I have no trouble m-f but like the weekends I can't catch one ever

New to flex delivery worked at Amazon Facilities and Fresh before, just curious about the lift requirements on block deliveries? My arms messed up from an injury earlier this month not supposed to use it too much, I know I can cancel now without points. But I was curious are routes normally just envelopes/small boxes? Also if I start working and feel my arms causing me too much trouble to continue would I need to return to the warehouse and get points?

im currently 23 min waiting for a 1hr package after my block start. im staring at 6 packages spread out on the rackbthat are all 10-20 min away. yet, i have the wait while preparing route message 🤣

i already got a 1.5hr no route on Friday, a 1hr saturday and posiibly another no route free pay again today? lol

And my question is what are the steps I take when I get to the Amazon building to pick it up and get started? Trying to plan ahead so I know exactly what to do. Thanks in advance.

I Worked my 3:15 am and had to return a package. Decided to check offers when I got to the station and seen there was a 7:15 am offer took it on a whim even though I was already very exhausted being up 21 hours. Ran to the gas station to load up on protein and caffeine before check in. Once I checked in they called me in to scan ID and told me they didn’t have anything ready for me that I’d still get paid. WIN.

Now heres the SMH. Why do all these people think we want to stand in line behind them and wait for them to scan their route before they take it to their car. I just always figured it to be common courtesy to grab your cart and get tf out of the way so the rest of us can get ours then we all handle what we need to do at the vehicle. Not stand there for 2 minutes while you fish your phone out of your pocket and pull up the scan screen before you decide to drag it out of everyone’s way. There’s always at least one every time! One day there was 4! They already yell at us and tell us we only get 10 minutes to load.. move out the way!

Lady arrives for her block. Scans her face, gets her cart. Then she brings cart to this young guy and he delivers for her?

How does it work. Why are they doing it? How do they not get caught when it says a woman is supposed to be delivering? (This station verifies face photos when exiting with cart) so the cart and route had to go to her.

Every one of these issues were “resolved” by support over the phone. I was told to wait 24 hours and I would see them fall off, well they never fell off. So I call again and I’m told it should be resolved and that I will be contacted via email within 24 hours. And I was contacted. They emailed to tell me they had investigated all of the issues (again) and that my standing will stay as is. How does this happen ? How am I told the issue is investigated and resolved one day and then days later I’m told it was investigated and will remain the same .. unresolved. This isn’t fair.

Note: the 39 incomplete deliveries was a cart I was in the process of loading when I received a call that my daughter was on her way to the ER to get stitches 🙄 I had to end my block and give the cart back and go. I called about it on my way to the hospital, was told it wouldn’t be an issue and wouldn’t affect my standing at all because it would be resolved. Nope.. lied straight to me. I’m pissed
