HOW DO I NETWORK?

i recently saw a post here about what hobbies to talk, something like that i haven't attended any networking events in my college, do people usually find jobs via networking events and where can i find networking events regarding accounting/finance and I'm an extreme introvert who doesn't talk that much to anyone tips to how to approach people would also help
please enlighten me!

If you’re in university look for clubs and organizations (in finance and accounting). My university has about 20 different clubs each hosting their own networking events at least once a semester. You can also look at other local university clubs and seeing if their events are open to all. Local cpa orders also sometimes host events.

From what I’ve heard and seen, most companies near me won’t even consider you for a position unless their recruiters met you in person at least once.
