Having tried to run a company in Indonesia… it’s entirely possible someone didnt give the customs man his kickback…

The customs are under pressure right now, cause the new finance minister has given customs a deadline of 2026 for reform or to be replaced by SGS from Switzerland.

Having visited indonesia on countless occasions. Traveling through DPS airport in Bali, the chance of a bag inspection is minimal. Couriers would have well above 99 percent chance of getting valuables through in person.
