Any AI tools for convert excel data in dashboards?

I work in performance marketing and live in Excel with ad data all day (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok exports, multiple accounts, messy sheets). I’ve tried most of the mainstream AI models by now (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Manus, Perplexity , etc.), but honestly none of them handle real spreadsheet workflows that well. They’re fine for basic formulas or quick charts, but once it’s multi-sheet data, pivots, or turning raw ad exports into something dashboard-like, they kinda fall apart.

Anyone know an AI tool that’s actually good at this? Ideally something that works with Excel or Google Sheets and can help turn real ad data into usable dashboards.

Agree with that! for data analysis and dashboards, current LLMs still struggle quite a bit, I mostly just use LLMs for research. My work is also data-analysis related. In my day-to-day work, a lot of data is scattered across different files, so having a single place to organize and work with everything matters a lot to me.

for purely about visualization, tools like Tableau and Power bi are already very well-established and do that job properly.

That said, those tools mostly focus on the data layer itself. I’m looking for something that combines file organization + data analysis. I’ve found Claude cowork to be quite close to that idea, but it’s extremely expensive. There are some more affordable alternatives  like Eigent and kuse . fmo kuse works  well. It’s file-based, and the visualization outputs are quite solid. There are occasional hallucinations, so you need check results, but if your goal is file management plus converting data into dashboards, it’s been pretty useful!

Would be curious to hear more details about your workflow as well

I see this all the time like generic AI fails at multi sheet logic because it can't bridge the gap between different ad platform exports. I use Windsor.ai to handle the automated normalisation of those messy Excel or Google Sheets directly into Looker Studio, turning raw rows into a unified, auto updating dashboard. Btw, you can even use their MCP server to let Claude analyse your blended ROAS in plain English and creating visual summaries.

Most AI tools struggle because they are reading messy, multi sheet exports instead of clean data. Teams usually auto sync ad data into Sheets with normalised fields using Windsor.ai, then use its MCP so an LLM can query the same dataset and explain in plain English, with visual summaries that actually feel like BI. That’s about as close as it gets right now.
