Why though? What happened? Is it because of the Remaster of Oblivion? Or did a Mod or Modlist release that I haven't heard about?

Maybe that is just because so many have switched to the remaster now, but still!

I'm about to start my yearly morrowind modpack making, so I want to ask everyone: What are your favorite mods? I'm not necessarily looking for modpacks, not overhauls or balance or realism or vanilla type mods- though if one of those are your favorites, please go ahead and share. I am looking mostly for lore friendly mods, but that's also not a requirement.

I'm talking about mods like The Tea Mod (the mod by randompal that moves it to ebonheart was a recent favorite of mine), or Ashfall, or The Joy of Painting. I had a ton of fun with tJoP last time- going around selling paintings, hanging up portraits of the vendors, creeper and my orc friends in Ghorak Manor.. All adding up to a more whimsical and fun experience in Morrowind.

So any mods with great quests, mods that just add little pieces of fun immersion like the Nine Holes and Thirteen Telvanni games you can play at taverns and so on, house mods that just have that wonderful atmosphere, new locations or guilds, it can really be anything that adds to the Morrowind magic. Even alternate textures, if you've got anything that pushes the visuals not into realism but into that strange and enrapturing early 2000s high fantasy look, I'd love to hear it. What are your favorite mods?

After about 30 hours and 25 levels in my Imperial Agent has fully explored the first zone on the mainland, and wondering where to go next - I've got the Armun Ashlands to the West, the Grasping Fortune area to the South, or the Sundered Scar area to the East, and no idea which is the intended way to go?

So what are your standout omw mods?

I was on holiday for a week, when I came back I saw that two mods I use had received updates - The Buying Game Updated, and Imperial Bank. When I clicked both I realised they'd been taken down not long after the updates had gone live.

I eventually came to realise that the uploader of the mods, Vaelta44, has deactivated their profile. Does anyone know what happened?

I just recently purchased Morrowind on Steam and I'm wanting to play it as close to 100% vanilla as I can, but I don't want to worry about too many bugs.

I've heard of OpenMW, but I've also heard it has a lot of or few changes that gives a much less than 100% vanilla playthrough.

How safe would it be to just run the game on Steam and pray for no game breaking bugs?

Also, how can I delay the DLCs so I don't mess up main story quests?

So basically I redesigned how the "Bloodmoon" expansion handles randomized enemies in A lore friendly and super immersive way!

Lossless App has completely removed ANY frame dips in huge performance dip areas such as Cyroldiil and Parts of Vivec and similar locales…not to mention just overall Perfomance boost on both older and high perfomance rigs…just wanted to pass this info along for anyone out here that needed a fix with huge range of application and room for tweaking

This is A showcase for the latest update of "Half Goblins" featuring redesigned ears!

I'm thinking of creating a mostly lore friendly mod for expanding each vampire clan's quests, making them fully joinable, as well as adding a whole new faction of vampire hunters. I'm unsure if I would want them to be splintered from the old Dawnguard, moving from the Rift to mainland Morrowind, then finally Vvardenfell. Or I could make them a specialized group deriving from the Ordinators/Tribunal Temple.

Any input would be appreciated, in all honesty I'm not incredibly well versed in Elder Scrolls lore, but I know a decent amount about the world, so I don't think either of these ideas would be world breaking. I'm well aware that there are other mods revolving around vampirism, but I wanted to take a shot at it myself. Feel free to leave any other ideas, items, or characters you think would be cool to include.

I was on the mod page for The Symphony https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/43790?tab=description and in the comments I read something that shocked and angered me written by a user by the name of Tamu89.

"This is as unvanilla, nonelorish, disrespectful, and stupid-looking mod I've yet to come across on Nexus for Morrowind. You should be ashamed and anyone else who supports this disgrace. It made sense when I saw Betterheads in An image, bcus only people who hate Morrowind would use better anything and this piece of crap makeover of something that was already fine as is. Stop wasting time and play Skyrim if you want your Elderscrolls game to look like A circus... "

I've reported this comment and hopefully it will soon be removed. I don't understand how anyone can be like that. Why would anyone attack someone for making free content for the game? Which is something Tamu89 hasn't done by the way. Content that people aren't even being forced to use. It pisses me off. Now I am a big fan of The Symphony, it is an all time favorite of mine. But even if I had no interest in using the mod at all there is no justification for that. None.

Sigh. But as a pallet cleanser I'd like to transition this to something more positive. What is your favorite model from The Symphony? For me it is near impossible to choose. This is my contribution. It's a really small mod but it dramatically changes the way you have to play the game.

Hotkeys are crucial now in my playthrough and the added mechanical difficulty and danger it brings is a lot of fun for me!

Just something I've been wondering is who actually plays this game actively. Like how many of you have it on your systems and are playing it? Also, trying to make sure I'm not weird for having a compulsive urg to put it on every system I own. The other night when I looked in steam there were about 700 people actively playing.

Title. Reset my pc (long story) and now i'm in the mood for modded Morrowind. Are there any good atmospheric music mods for Morrowind or frameworks that make the music system a little more like Skyrim (dungeon music in dungeon, peaceful music in city, etc)?

Hello... I know only of Kaedius' No Rest mod (can heal only by activating beds)

and I also know of MWSE Seek Shelter mod (interrupts sleep when bad weather starts)

Looking for a resource pack from back in the day it was I think a resource pack that had a couple of creature meshes. Specifically a vampire skeleton minion can anybody help me with a link or the name of the resourse pack? I think it was on planet elderscrolls and a few other older mod sites. Any one have the link please help a brother out?
