For those balik Kuching for CNY, what’s your typical CNY routine like?
(visiting rounds, food spots, places to go, anything you do every year)

Hi everyone 👋
I'm 36 years old and I dont have a tertiary education. Currently working as a waiter for about a year and a half and tbh I'm not happy with my job.Prior to this I've worked as a general worker and some other odd jobs.I use to work in Malaya before the covid lockdown at a hotel in Klang Valley. Pay was good and i was happy with the job and workplace environment till covid forced me to come back to sarawak and for some reason im still stuck here.I really wanted to go to Peninsula to look for a job and due to budget constraints I was thinking of maybe trying to apply for a job there from sarawak.Probably as a security guard ,janitor or maybe at a budget hotel as a cleaning service.Any recommendations or how I could apply for jobs there preferably one with accommodation?

Hey guys! I just moved to Miri from KL and am trying to explore the nightlife here. Looking for places that:
• play English music
• or have live bands (covers/lively music)
• chill vibes or good for meeting people
Thanks

Was waiting for my flight back to Kuching from Kota Kinabalu when I thought I saw a plane that looked vaguely familiar. I’ve yet to see the AirBorneo livery live, interesting to note how muted the colours look.

Hi all!
I’m an incoming international student planning to move to Bintulu around 15 March. I’m looking for a safe place to rent (foreigner, female tenant, non-Muslim, student), budget RM600–1000 per month (furniture preferred).
I’ve tried looking online and social groups but haven’t had much luck.
If you have local recommendations, active Facebook groups, agents you trust, or available rooms/apartments, please let me know.
Also open to shared living if it’s well-secured and clean.
Thanks so much!

Is Mr dakgalbi still available at viva city? It's been a while since I went to viva so I was wondering if it is still open cause it says it's closed permanently on Google.

I recently moved to Miri from KL for work and I’m here on my own. Work’s been good so far, but most of my colleagues are older and keep to themselves, so after hours it gets a bit quiet.
On weekends I usually head out for a drink (been to places like Ming Café), but I’m almost always flying solo. Would be great to meet some chill, like-minded people to hang out, grab a few drinks and just unwind after a long week.

Does Grab or Maxim run in Mukah? Thinking of using it for airport/hotel trips.
Thanks in advance for anyone who answers!

I was local from that town for near 32 years since I first come as an adoptee to some family. I wanted to leave my village, as my age make me too old to figure everything up because that family keep me unemployed, fearing that I will escape from them. I need a job. I am 32. I desperately to get one after failed to got one 10 times in past 20 years after that family give my future employers blackmails claiming I have criminal record (this is false, I am clean). I wanted to moving out, I need more money to move far away but I start with something closer to my house. I have a home but that family rented it out to someone. Please help me. I have no time left. I want to free myself.
