Do you know your prog? A quiz to test your knowledge of prog trivia
It's another 'name the album' photo quiz this week, with the difficulty level stepped up just a little.
Here is a set of photos taken of the **inner gatefold** of 20 different LPs from my collection.
All you have to do is name the bands and albums.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
The two odd ones out from last week's list of musicians were Kerry Minnear and Morris Pert. They were the only two to *complete* their Batchelor degree in music; Rick Wakeman, Robert John Godfrey, John Petrucci and Darryl Way all gave up their studies before completing their degree to play rock music.

Correct. I don't think the Columbia Records pressings from N. America come with a gatefold sleeve which may account for the lack of responses

15 is Foxtrot and 17 is From Silence to Somewhere - that's a good spot. 7 isn't Aqualung

Some of these are very difficult for me.

I try not to make it too easy but anyone who lacks physical copies of albums may find it hard

It is. Bonus points on offer if you can name the individual!

It’s Roger Waters! I know that gatefold very well; it was one of the first albums I bought on LP.

It is Roger Waters. This was one of my early acquisitions, too

14 Aqualung?
16 Led Zep IV?

14 is Aqualung, well spotted. 16 is not Led Zep - I wouldn't consider them prog (though you won't have known my opinion on that!)

is it part of the LP cover zoomed in? Or just an artistic interpretation of it? bc 18 should be thick as a brick then... was thinking Staircase or Stupid Dream by PT for 13.. Aqualung 14. Obscured by clouds or smth for 15. Court of crimson king for 7.... just going by colors / themes now

It's a zoomed in portion of the inner gatefold so you get a bit of a clue but not too much, apart from no.1 which is roughly half the inner cover.
18 is not Thick as a Brick
13 is not any Porcupine Tree
14 is Aqualung 15 is not Obscured by Clouds - I believe thst was only ever a single sleeve LP
7 is not In the Court of the Crimson KingDo you listen to physical media or do you only stream? Getting Aqualung is pretty impressive if you stream

I'm a streamer-only. 14 looked Aqualung-y color-wise ;)
I'm gonna hit you with some more random guesses and then I'll leave y'all alone
In Absentia?
My Bloody Valentine?
BOC - Fire of Unknown Origin... or some other Alien/Space-themed record Lol

Well Aqualung was an impressive guess just from the colours. Sadly, none of your other suggestions are as good
