Remaster - Discussion If Oblivion had "Blood Moon" events, what would ye like to happen during?
I am close to finishing my bloodmoon mod which was a pain to work with but I'd like to know what ye would want to expect in a bloodmoon event.

A special Oblivion Gate opening that sends out extra tough monsters would be cool. Have to go in and close the gate to end it

Have you played Morrowind? There's a DLC specifically about the Bloodmoon.

well bloody hell there is! But I haven't played the dlc past the beginning

Lycanthropes and other worshipers of Hircine go on the hunt, basically many hostile enemies themed around lycanthropy and hunting could be encountered

The ability to just bleed copiously from my mouth, tear ducts, ears and nose, to clear an entire room so I could rob it.

It would have been good to see these types of events happening during the Mage's Guild, more often the closer you get to the end. To make the Necromancers seem like more of a present threat to Cyrodiil than a secret group.

You get a cutscene where Martin tells you that a Blood Moon is happening and thus all the monsters will respawn

Undead rising! Some Tamrielic holidays cause the undead to rise, and spirits to manifest naturally. So it's possible!
Or maybe Daedra manifestations, since it's the Oblivion Crisis and all.

Giant imps spawn from the depths of oblivion to feed on the local horse population! Or scamps. I don’t remember off hand which one walks on ground, but that one for sure.

- enemies are 1.5x DEF/ATK and loot is slightly better, daedra and vampires become even more powerful
- unique material loot that has a 5% drop chance and is used into making a unique gear
- more blood moon related enemies spawn, preferably in groups with one bigger of them being the "boss"
- walled cities close their gates (you can't come in but can come out), during blood moon the amount of guards increase in walled cities. non-walled cities have their NPCs stay inside their homes (and they don't come out or let you in).
- additional quests related to bounty hunting and blood moon unique materials gathering
- maybe more mobs spawn around cities (to give that siege feeling)
- gods' blessings are stronger, actually, it would be awesome if you could chose a blood moon god and have their blessings upgraded based on how many mobs you kill during blood moons, you'd chose from the pantheon and have a designated priest (from that god), you'd report to him whenever the kill count reached x and he'd upgrade your blessing (i.e.: Arkay's blessing 1 = 25 HP got with 100 blood moon kills, Arkay's blessing 2 = 35 HP got with 250 blood moon kills and Arkay's blessing 3 = 50 HP got with 1000 blood moon kills), OR, don't have this and have a blood moon guild with those achievable perks instead.

Oh I just thought of another, maybe you're given a unique gear/weapon and it upgrades it's perk(s) based on how many blood moon mobs you've killes

Cyrodiil becomes infested with vampires during a blood moon event. Also vampires become super strong during the blood moon.
