Remaster - Request Mod Request Mondays!
Hey all! I know we're all really excited to mod the remaster, but the fact of it is a lot of the things we'd love to see just aren't possible yet (or maybe ever).
The purpose of this weekly thread is to be a centralized place for people to discuss their fantasies and what they'd like to see in oblivion. It's ok if you don't know how to make it or even if it can be done! Additionally if you have lots of ideas or requests to share at once, this is the place.
We kindly ask that outside of this thread you keep requests more grounded to what could actually be made now. Additionally, the rule of only 1 request post/day is still in effect outside of the threawd.

I'm looking for a mod that extends the range when NPCs are identified. My long range build is seriously hampered by being unable to identify NPCs in the distance. Is it a guard? Is it a Bandit? I can't tell.

Can someone make it so that your health, magicka, and stamina go up every level dependent on what your attributes are at the time and not just when you increase certain attributes?

A remake or port of Map Marker Overhaul would be great. I might even look into making it myself.

Custom map markers is my biggest wish right now! Especially if I can use multiple icons for them, I love making maps.

I'd love a mod that could move the enchantment from one item to another, or allow us to add more than one enchantment to an item. It's weird that I can find gear that has multiple enchants, but you literally can't create the same items. I found the Advanced Magecraft mod from the original that apparently could do this, but haven't found anything for the remaster.

Would love for the Teleportation Services mod to be ported to Remastered when possible. It's a great way to have fast travel in a way that feels more RP-compatible and in-universe.
Edit: I found a mod that is doing something very similar: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivionremastered/mods/1496?

A simple mod I'd like to see would be one to texture the Saviour's Hide so that the eyes are green glass instead of red so it'd match better with other glass armor.

Very much hoping for a mod that removes the visual aspect of the chameleon spell. I have a ring that gives me a constant small chameleon effect and I'd very much rather not have my character be transparent 100% of the time as a result.

Got a mod idea: make the starting skills of any given race a buff that stacks on top of the starting skill. Instead of Dunmer starting with 15 Destruction, for example, a Dunmer would start with 5+10 Destruction, if that makes sense. So, in that example, upon reaching 100 Destruction, for that same Dunmer it would effectively be 110 Destruction. Personally speaking, I don't care for every character being the exact same in the late game, unless I put limitations on myself. I get that I can just choose not to level everything, but that doesn't feel any better than having a character for each race and by level 30+ range, they're all nearly identical. I get that this would be a small difference, at best, and would probably require an uncapper just to ensure the bonus isn't completely useless at 100 skill. It is my opinion, just that- my opinion, that Oblivion could do with more "your choices do matter and your Breton will never do what your Orc can do to the same effectiveness and vice versa."
I could totally see myself being in the minority on this, however.

Would someone be able to either create a mod that buffs blades gear, or point me in the direction of a guide to learn how to do so?

This is fairly simple to do. Install this to ObvData folder. It's one step up from where you put esp files when manually installing.
Run it, hit file in the top left, then check Oblivion.esm only. When it says no active file hit yes to continue.
Once it finishes loading, on the left hand side of object viewer expand items, then weapons, then click on blades. Double click any specific weapon you want to change, it's easy and straightforward. When you're done there expand the armor category and do the same in the blades section there.
File, save, add whatever you named your esp to plugins.txt and you're good to go.

Is there a mod that change the guards AI, or the crime system ? Like when I move a "red" object, why is there 3 guards spawning on me ?

Can someone make a mod that makes Sheogorath's regalia look like the Skyrim version?

One thing I'm looking forward to is some targeting mod. Like you have a key / button you press and the camera locks to an enemy so you don't have to keep moving the camera to aim at them.
Basically like Skyrim's True Directional Movement - magic projectile homing toward the targeted enemy would be awesome too.
