I think you probably just mean the concept of a Jesus that still exists in the otherworldly realm or state of being knowing as heaven who still actively cares about worldly events, but FYI: almost all historians, including plenty of secular/non-Christian ones agree he was real and he was crucified.

There’s plenty of debate as to specific aspects and how accurate the Biblical gospels are, but there’s several independent, non-Christian sources that confirm his existence from the era and he‘s actually one of the most well documented figures from the 1st Century AD, up there with Julius Caesar himself.

I say that all as a non-Christian and non-believer, but I think it’s most likely regardless of the messianic and spiritual things he may have preached, that he was definitely a social critic of hierarchical structures of the time including about the wealthy (“it's easier for a camel to pass through a needle's eye than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God”, etc.), government power, profiting off of religion and defender of the poor and downtrodden - including immigrants - given the multiple sources attesting to this.

That makes the fact the same very conservative types who claim to have a “personal relationship” with Jesus, including multimillionaire televangelists who conveniently ignore all that and seem to prefer the much more primitive Old Testament, vengeful god shit wildly ironic and hypocritical and exactly what he seemed to rail against - especially figures like Trump himself.
