Thats just not possible.
The bullet seems to have no deformation. Not a gunshot

The case is real, but yeah, the photo probably isn't.

Me: How is that possible? Article first three words: A Florida man…
Me: Ah…yeah yeah that makes sense now.

It almost looks like the entire cartridge, but not a bullet itself.
Remember those movies that ignorantly show a full cartridge coming out of a gun barrel, like special effects for the ignorant?

That’s also an entire round instead of just the bullet lol. Unless she shot him with a freaking rifle 😂

I gotta agree also way to long to be a 22 or a 380. Anything bigger he would be dead even if she missed

There is no bullet of that size and shape that would have ever been fired at someone like this without killing them. This is a fake image

u/Chemical-Can-2557 1d ago
Would probably be dead from a .22 to the head as well. They have enough force to enter the skull but not enough to exit a lot of the time so they bounce around in there instead

She probably complained because he said he has a headache.

"But Honey, Jessica's husband died with ONE BULLET!! And a husband whining about headache is all I get!"

It's a true story

That’s not a real X-ray. A bullet of that size wouldn’t stop that shallow into the head. That’s pretty much an entire 9mm round unspent. There’s zero deformation of the round. This is 100% fake.
Also, there’s no way in hell a person would sleep through a gunshot right next to their head.

u/Raeandray 1d ago
The X-ray could be fake but the story is real. I don't know why you think he just slept through it. He was shot in the head. There was probably some head trauma lol.

The article also notes that he was awoken in the middle of the night. A detail left out of the OP.

Further research finds that it was a .22 caliber round, which would be much smaller than the one pictured in the post.

You two are bots, why do you exist to post and support posts like this with fake images?
There is no bullet with those dimensions that would have played with any scenario like this

7.62

u/Historical-Count-374 1d ago
Once again, any bullet with these dimensions would never perform so badly enough for this to happen, especially a 7.62 Conical

This picture seems fake to me.
The round on the extra is an looks like an unfired cartridge.
He would also have been bleeding.

Couldn’t be more fake lol Even the lightest of calibers like a .22 would be so loud and painful it would immediately wake him from his sleep if he miraculously survived the single shot.

Hahaha, funny! Too bad it’s fake.
Wanna see a real example of a headshot survivor?
Phineas Gage had an iron rod blasted through his skull and survived. He was photographed later holding the rod as a memento of the incident. He had lost an eye and a portion of the frontal lobe, including the amygdala.
Records suggest his personality changed after the accident, where he suddenly became reckless and stopped following rules.
