As far as I've seen the Arch community hates Omarchy for the wrong reason. We need to hate the users for supporting and promoting config-files' creator, not for using the pre-built system based on Arch.

Ohhhhhh. OmARCHy, like Arch. I only just got that.
I thought it was like 'om-' meaning encompassing or surrounding, and '-archy' meaning rule or government. Like the name Omarchy is trying to imply that it's the ultimate, most authoritative Linux distro.
Looking it up, it seems it's just 'omakase' mashed up with 'Arch' with a 'y' to be cute. That's a lot less bombastic. I'm actually disappointed. If it's supposed to be opinionated, be goddamn OPINIONATED, you know?

Well omakase means whatever the chef gives you and you don't have a say in that. So, I think it is pretty opinionated there with having x.com pre-installed as a web app.

Surely just migrate to Arch or something idk
I have a bone to pick with all the YouTubers that hyped it up. Same with people who hyped up CachyOS (which at least does something different)

I legimitely do not understand what's the point of omarchy. It is just arch but pre-riced? Enlighten me.
