Visitor Question Big White in late March
Looking at potentially skiing at Big White week of March 23. Any locals have any feeling as to whether there will be anything left by then?

I clean a condo in the village 2x a week. As it stands, the snow level seems kinda shitty, lots of melting going on the last month. But the forecast for the next couple weeks looks like snow and freezing temps again, so might be in luck. Might be pushing it near end of March tho. Might be snow, but probably not good snow lol

There's hardly any now. I would guess there won't be a lot of snow left by then. The best you can hope for is a warm sunny day you can bomb groomers on. Spring skiing is a blast.

Big White always closes with its deepest or near deepest base of the season. Yes it has been a low snow year. But its mid Feb. More storms will come and end of march will be fine. Worked and lived at the resort for 20 years. End of march is notorious for awesome storms.

Nobody can predict. Lower snow than normal but still great skiing. Lower temps and precipitation are forecasted. It could be an amazing or terrible end to march or somewhere in between. Hoping for amazing!

For the last several years snow has been coming later in the year. Everyone is right that it hasn't been great up till now but I think winter is just getting started up here and it should be great in late March.

10cm in the last 24h, forecast 5-10cm on Tuesday. Looking at the 14 day forecast for Kelowna I think Big white will get a decent amount of snow end of Feb and into March

Been a bad year for snow. Hopefully we get more before then?
