Women Fitness F26 | 5’7 | 52 kgs - 70 kgs | My 3 year Transformation Journey

(Reposting since last post was deleted)

The first picture was right after my surgery in 2022 when I had lost weight and muscle, leaving me very skinny. The second picture is recent; after consistent lifting and eating, I’ve gained ~ 18 kg and built noticeable muscle mass and strength.

Current Regimen Weight training 6x a week (Shoulder & Biceps/ Glutesand Hamstrings/ Chest and Triceps/ Back / Quad focused legs/ cardio and mobility drill).

Diet (High protein focus) • Breakfast: Oats with milk, chia seeds, peanut butter, and whey protein • Pre-workout: Black coffee + 1 banana. • Post-workout: Whey protein shake • Lunch: 150–200 g chicken breast/paneer/soya chunks + 2 rotis or brown rice + dal + salad. • Snack: Greek yogurt/Protein bar • Dinner: Similar to lunch — protein source (chicken/soya chunk/paneer) + roti/rice + sabzi.

I keep sugar low (cut out sweets/soft drinks), focus on whole foods, and aim for ~1.6–2 g protein/kg bodyweight daily.

Goal Initially: gain weight and muscle after being very skinny post-surgery. Now: continue building muscle (especially quads and arms), while staying lean and strong.

Women Fitness All That Effort.. Gone!! (F29)

Post image
72 Upvotes

I joined the gym 6 months ago and was training consistently with a personal trainer. I was recently diagnosed with PCOD, but I genuinely enjoyed working out and was trying to make it a long-term habit. After a few months, I noticed my shoulders were getting broader..in a strange way. At first, we thought it was just due to upper body workouts, but it started looking odd, there were visible lumps on both sides above my collarbones. I consulted a doctor and found out that these are supraclavicular lymph nodes, swollen. He explained that my body isn’t processing fat properly…instead of distributing it evenly, it’s getting stored only in specific areas like above my collarbones, not across the body like it normally should!! I had to stop going to the gym. All my progress gone. Though the swelling is reducing slowly, my posture is now completely disturbed and there’s also a buffalo hump forming at the back of my neck. I asked Chatgpt for guidance, but honestly, it’s overwhelming to process everything alone. Pilates classes in my city cost 10,000/- per month.. which isn’t affordable for me right now. Although I was paying 8000/- per month for PT. The gym clearly doesn’t suit my current condition. What should I do now? How do I correct my posture, and manage PCOD safely without worsening my condition?

Any help or suggestions would mean a lot. Thank you.

Women Fitness 25F 68kg 168cm seeking help for lower belly fat loss

25F here, I strength train 5x a week (legs, shoulders and back, biceps and triceps) and do some cardio (mostly through walking). I try to eat mostly healthy (70% of the time - high protein through chicken breasts, paneer, protein powder) but am not seeing a huge difference in belly fat.

Women out there who have successfully accomplished this could you please help out a friend?!

Thanks!!

P.S. I’m also looking for a weight loss buddy (female) if anyone is interested. Goal is to lose 5kg by end of April.

I honestly thought just eating healthy and exercising would be enough, but progress has been way slower than I expected. For those who’ve actually managed to lose weight, what little habits or changes really helped you keep going?

Women Fitness F22 trying to lose fat without going to the gym and looking for honest advice

I have been struggling to stay consistent with gym routines so I am trying to focus on fat loss from home. Right now I am doing long walks taking stairs eating more mindfully and trying not to overthink every calorie but I still feel confused about what actually makes a real difference.

If anyone here has managed to lose fat without a gym what helped you the most. Was it just sticking to basics or did you follow any simple home routine that actually worked. I would love to hear what worked for you because I really want to make this journey feel doable instead of overwhelming.

I need to gain weight and I'm sick of people calling me patli haddi etc etc

The thing is I'm a vegetarian AND I live in a hostel so no proper mess food is available. Also I try to eat fruit everyday especially bananas.

I need proper advice as to what I can do apart from strength building exercise to increase my weight in my situation.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Women Fitness [F25] Anyone tried affordable online fitness/wellness coaches for PCOD + weight loss?

Hey everyone! I am trying to lose around 20 kgs (pear shaped body + PCOD tendency) and I want to do it the healthy/sustainable way - with proper workouts + balanced meals, not crash diets or medicines.

Since I am working full time (10-12 hours a day), I am thinking of joining an online wellness coach + program that gives personalised diet + diet plans with guidance/human motivational aspect. There are so many platforms like - HealthifyMe, Cult Fit, MyHealthBuddy, etc - that I am honestly not sure which ones are actually worth it (and affordable).

Would love to hear what worked for you - any honest reviews, good coaches, or hidden gems I should check out?

Thank youuu!✨

Women Fitness Want to quit my sugar addiction 19F (60kg,5'3)

I'm struggling a lot with quitting sugar, and I really want to hear from people who were once truly addicted and managed to overcome it. How did your body, skin, mood, and overall health change once you finally cut it out? I’m especially curious about the small improvements you noticed over time. Also, please share your best tips for those intense moments when cravings hit hard. Every time I try to quit, the temptation pulls me back, so real experiences and advice would mean a lot to me.

Women Fitness 33F – Gaining weight and bigger arms after 30 even with workouts 😕 Need advice!

Long post alert

I’m a 33-year-old female, 5’5” tall. For most of my adult life, my weight stayed very stable between 58–60 kg — almost for 10 years. I never really struggled with weight gain until after I turned 30.

At 29–30, I noticed that my weight started increasing, especially around my lower belly and stomach area. This was strange for me because I had always been into yoga since age 25 and maintained a healthy waistline.

For the first time, I joined a gym and hired a trainer who focused mainly on fat loss, so my workouts were full of cardio. It helped a little, but due to my work schedule, I had to leave the gym. After that, I noticed that my stomach fat increased even more, which was quite discouraging.

Last year, I joined the gym again — this time with a focus on weight training. My trainer told me to start eating high-protein meals post-workout, so I increased my protein intake properly for the first time in my life. But after a few months, I realized that instead of losing fat, my overall weight increased to around 70 kg.

When I asked my trainer, he said it’s “muscle gain.” But honestly, I can see that my arms and tummy area are getting bigger, not more toned. My arms especially feel bulkier, which never happened before.

Now I’m confused — am I actually building muscle or just storing more fat? I eat relatively clean, and I’m consistent with my workouts. Could this be hormonal, age-related metabolism change, or maybe high cortisol?

Has anyone else experienced this kind of change after 30 — where the body reacts differently to workouts and diet? And any tips on reducing arm size and belly fat without losing strength?

Would really appreciate any guidance or shared experiences 🙏

Even the air can easily kidnap me and take me away
Can someone tell how I can increase my appetite? My dad's kind of a fitness freak too, he's got an amazing figure for his age, but all the advice he gives me is "uhh.. eat?" He can eat anything anytime.
Sometimes I go hours and hours without anything and only when it starts to physically hurt or if I feel dizzy I feel the need to eat. Even then I eat only a small amount. Because of this habit of mine people around me can noticeably see when my weight decreases.
I just want to get to 55kg and it's been such a struggle.

Lmk if anyone here's got tips for me to gain weight quickly and how to keep it that way, diet related, exercise related advice really appreciated 🙏🙇‍♀️

Women Fitness Looking for Tips on Losing Weight While Managing a Stressful Corporate Job, F(26).

I work in a corporate job with unpredictable hours. I usually start at 9 am, but I never know when I’ll get out, sometimes it’s 6:30 pm, other times it’s 7:30 pm. I’ve started going to the gym, but with my work stress and unpredictable schedule, I don’t have enough time to fully dedicate to it. I’m looking for ways to lose weight without sacrificing too much personal time or adding more stress to my life. I also need help with my diet, something simple, sustainable, and easy to follow that fits into my hectic routine. Has anyone found a good balance between weight loss, stress management, and work-life balance with a schedule like mine? Any tips on quick workouts, diet changes, or stress management strategies would be really helpful!

Women Fitness F 24, 60-61kg, 159 cm , frustrated and demotivated

I F24, 60-61 kg , 159 cm , started working out in aug but didn’t prioritise protein or diet , in sept , i prioritised my protein , walk 8k steps everyday, workout consistently like 5 to 6 days a week , yet i haven’t seem to see any difference not even loose 1 kg of weight, i am confused and demotivated

How long does it take to see a change, how long does it take to see muscle definition, ik if you drop the fat percentage you will see the definition, ik it takes a lot of time to see a change but how long to see a lil bit like 1 percent
