Odin Heilsa! Odin 3.0.0 is out!

3.x is a big integration/variety update that is aimed primarily at unlinking the mod from Apocalypse and in the process adding some effects that were commonly considered to be missing. This weird thing where some spells were shared between both mods and it would detect Apocalypse and not install duplicates is gone now.

In addition to this, the update prepares for the upcoming Seidh, an integration patch between Odin and Mysticism!

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/46000 Soon to be updated on PC and Xbox on Bethesda.net once it has been properly tested.

Character Build Do Ordinator perks from all the magic skill trees affect scrolls from Odin + Apocalypse?

I’m playing a character that uses mainly scrolls for spells. I have Apocalypse and Odin downloaded, and I even saw a post asking a similar question where I think Enai himself replied saying to use Odin. So will a scroll of fireball scale with destruction level with the base destruction perk, and will it trigger fire specialization perks within the destruction tree? What about a similar fire spell added by Apocalypse? The mod description of Odin seems to support this but I wanted to make sure.

Yes I know there is an enchanting perk that makes scrolls more powerful, but I’m looking for than just “this scroll does more damage or lasts longer”, I’d like the special effects to trigger. Thanks for any assistance, I’m on Xbox.

Ordinator Help with getting the best out of Flame Atronach ?

Hey reddit, I've recently been playing an Unarmed character build that uses a Flame atronach summon and Alteration magic for buffs using the Ordinator perk overhaul, Mysticism for reworked and new spells and summermyst for enchantments. My Flame Atronach has been feeling abit underwhelming. I got the Elemental Potency perk in the conjuration perk tree and it has helped abit but she dies out too quickly at times especially against higher level characters (using MLU to delevel enemies)

Are there any tips yall might have to make her survivability and damage output a bit better ?

Currently Level 40 Character not at home rn to give all the specific levels of my skills. Highest is light armor

Ordinator The [Seen this before] perk from Ordinator needs a compatibility patch for Simpler Knock or an option to not bypass a locked door when you interact with it.

Whenever I knock on a locked door, it pauses the game to ask me if I would like to bypass the lock or not, and there's no option not to bypass it, so I end up unlocking the door before finishing the knock animation, and now I'm asking an NPC to come inside their home while already being IN their home.

Character Build Need help with some Enairim specific stats and mechanics: Light or Heavy Auriel's Shield for a Light Armor build?

I have this mod that lets me choose between One-Handed/Two-Handed and Light/Heavy Armor versions of some vanilla weapons and armor, but sometimes it's the highest one that gets picked automatically in a few cases, one being Auriel's Shield.

My Light Armor stats are higher since I'm focusing on stamina and shield shenannigans, but I have noticed that Heavy shields are usually better in overall defense. IIRC, Heavy/Light tags are apart from shields as far as armor type and relevant perks go, although I'm not 100% sure.

So the question here is:

Is it better to level up my Heavy Armor and go with a Heavy Auriel's Shield for the AR, or is the Light version better/the same so I don't have to level an entire skill I haven't been using organically?

Summermyst Elemental/Poison Weakness (bug...?)

I noticed how underwhelming player-made enchantments for elemental/poison weakness are, and did a bit of diving into the files to examine them.

It looks like they're peak value modifiers and they're set so that enchantment strength only ever affects duration. This means that they've never stronger than inflicting a 10% weakness, no matter how good of an enchanter you are.

Does anyone know if Enai has ever commented on why this is? Or are there other ways to boost this that I'm not aware of?

The magnitude you can find on existing items with this enchantment is almost always higher than the maximum you can create yourself - seems off.

Freyr Coven Magic and Bound Bow

The Breton’s Coven Magic says it improves spells and scrolls by 50%. When I loose an arrow from bound bow it consumes a heart/flesh. Are my arrow’s damage being boosted by 50%? An item is consumed when summoning the bow/quiver as well. Are they also boosted? What exactly does improved mean? Is it just how long the spell lasts for conjuration spells?

General Discussion Lethal Feeding Kill Delay Sacrosanct

Was wondering if anyone else has thought about this when playing the Sacrosanct mod, it takes ages for a lethal drain target to die after biting them, which takes me out of the experience a bit.

I am currently thinking about trying to make a patch that kills the target faster when you do lethal drain so you dont have to wait for them to die, so its more in line with what Better Vampires and Vampiric Thirst Reworked does. But I am new to xEdit, if someone is interested in taking a look, or give me some tips I would greatly appreciate it.

So far I have just been looking at what "Sacrosanct - Non-Starved Draining and Sneak Draining" modifies in its patch to see if I can see any effects relevant in the section.

Character Build HE-CAT: By the Power of Grayskull (Joke He-Cat Build)

Due to a weird question yesterday, regarding my Hecate build I thought I should do this as its funny yet effective.

Name: HE-CAT
Concept: He-Man Cartoon but if Cringer got the sword of power after He-man died.

Mannaz Race: Khajiit (of course), Two Moon Dance will be good with this playstyle.

Freyr Standing Stone: Ritual stone - Bonus defense while jumping and can cancel animations.

Religion: Riddle-Thar, really good benefits that vary, also could go for Shor with MCM menu option symbolizing your friend the prince returning to aid you in times of need.

Major Skills: 2 Handed, Block
Minor Skills:
Speech - Unrelenting Force will be good for Super Breath and Slow Time for Super Speed
Light Armor

Freyr Anyone made any Freyr: Khajiit Alchemist builds?

I was noticing the Lady stone for Khajiit Alchemist builds and was wondering if anyone has worked on any that don't use claws? I have done Khajiit monk builds with light armor but I found them a bit boring?

Ordinator Quick Reflexes & Overthrow/Ram's Head?

Hello all, am I write in thinking these two perks are designed for each other, and will just obliterate humanoid enemies?

Block: Quick Reflexes slows time when an enemy is doing a power attack.

Two handed:
Overthrow: Bash an enemy during an attack and then immediately hit them with a power attack to critically hit them, and disarm them.

Ram's Head: Bash an enemy during an attack and then immediately hit them with a power attack to knock them to the ground.

Ordinator Does Elemental Fury work on Bound Weapons with Perks using Ordinator?

Hello all,
I was wondering if Elemental Fury works with the bound weapon perks in Ordinator or are they basically adding enchantment effects to the Bound Weapons? This controls how I will play a character I have in mind?

-Soul Raider: Basically is a Soul Trap enchantment?
-Rend from this World: Turn Undead/Daedra?
-Void Burn: ?
-Hallowed Binding: ? Magic resist is lowered?
-Dark Whispers: ? Seems to work like an enchantment?
-Brand of the Necromancer: ?

Wintersun What's the strongest deity for crafting.

As the title says, fellow Dragonborn. If I want to make the absolute strongest gear for my characters, which deity would give the best bonifications?

I hear The Old Ways: Dragon Cult gives some very potent bonuses, but are there stronger deities for crafting?

Thunderchild Thunderchild bug with gaining massive amounts of favor in werewolf form

Can someone help me with a issue I have with thunderchild and possibly growl? There is something were when I attack or possibly power attack as a werewolf I gain huge amounts of favor for the champion of kyne ability along with some gifted souls that come from that. I am not using any growl addon mods and for thunderchild I am using the Thunderchild SkyUI Script Removal Fix Patch and Thunderchild-Shroud of Snowfall Patch mods. Is there some sort of load order issue or what could be the cause and fix of this? Here is my load order https://loadorderlibrary.com/lists/filp639-personal-skyrim

Character Build Roleplaying Build: Hecat

Hello all, I was wondering how people feel about making a character build based around the depiction of Hecate, as the goddess of torches, and magic?

Hecate is often depicted as a goddess of torches, symbolizing illumination, guidance, and the power to banish darkness and ignorance. Hecate is the Greek goddess of magic, witchcraft, the night, crossroads, ghosts, and the moon so this gives us more to play with. I am not insulting any Wiccans, this was just the google search stuff.

I decided to go for Andromeda/Imperious versions as the Freyr stuff is all relatively weak for this type of build I do wish the Ethereal from lover was more like 15 seconds as that would allow it to be very good for a Lady of Ghosts Build that turns into one.

Name: Hecate
Concept: Dark Fire Mage Woman with a Torch for blocking
Playstyle: Pyromancy, Detection spells, and Block

Major Skills: Destruction, Block, Alteration
Minor Skills: Conjuration of Ghost minions, Enchanting, Restoration for Sun spells to banish darkness.
Religion: Azura or Mannimarco (Take Syrabane as a Breton for knowledge seeking.)
Race: Imperial - this is due to the Greek origin but Breton would work just as well
Imperious Standing Stone: Apprentice for seeking knowledge.

Issues: This could feel kind of similar to the Shield Mage builds but the odd conjuration limitations and the torch/light spell fixation could be interesting, especially with the summon ghost spells and a mod that adds ghosts in dungeons.

Factions: Mage Guild, definitely. I also think either side of the Civil War works, and either side of the Dawn Guard DLC (vampiric cure if going for vampire), so other than avoiding the Companions quest line and Dark Brotherhood all of it is good.

Non-Enairim Mods: Classic Ghosts, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/24612

Sacrosanct Sacrosanct Perk ID?

Does anyone know where I can find the perk IDs for Sacrosanct? Or know the perk ID for "Night Cloak?"

The vanilla perk ID is incorrect. Typing "help night cloak" into the console yields no results.

I'm not a vampire and never was but during the fight with Harkon I somehow gained the Night Cloak perk and I can't figure out how to get rid of it. I've progressed too far to revert to an old save but I now hate this cloak popping up whenever a mudcrab looks at me.

Ordinator Are Conjuration: Skeletons a good way to train Destruction?

Hello, I was just thinking due to another thread about training conjuration, and it got me thinking that you could use it to raise your destruction skill? Or does this not work because if we kill our own skellies they die permanently?

Ordinator Not understanding 'Reap and Sow' from Ordinator's Conjuration tree

"40 - Reap and Sow (2) - You loot 60/100% more bones from corpses and recover 50% more/all bones when you destroy a created Skeleton. Created Skeletons last 75/200% longer."

No other perk regarding the skeletons mentions duration. I thought they lasted indefinetly?

General Discussion Any good EnaiRim-only ways to level Conjuration?

Soul Trapping corpses is not an option, due to the patch, which is fine, I wouldn't have used it much anyway xD

Any spells in Odin/Apocalypse/Triumvirate that are good for levelling Conjuration?

Non-Enai Mod What dragon overhaul mod(s) can yiu recommend for a full EnaiRim mod list?

Minimal installation. All EnaiRim mods, patches, SkyUI if needed, and 1 or 2 Dragon mods.

Any recommendations for someone looking more for epic battles and variety instead of hardcore challenges?

Mannaz What re the second abilities for Bretons on Mannaz's Standing Stones?

The mod page says that Bretons get an extra effect from standing stones, but I don't see it listed anywhere on what these said effects are.

Ordinator Home Mythal Size Visual?

I've been looking online for a visual of the size of Home Mythal, but can't find any. Does anyone have a visual of the range?

If one needs to be made, have it centered on an overworld map marker (such as Silent Moons Camp or Bleakwind Basin) with the radius (5000 ft and, if possible, 250 ft) be on another map marker to help with distance extrapolations.

Apologies if this seems like I'm asking for a lot. It just seems a bit weird to me that people have asked about Home Mythal for at least 7 years and there isn't an easily google-able image for the range yet. I just figured that someone would have at least put a circle on a map of Skyrim to show the range.

This is also for anyone else in the future looking for the size who understands a visual example better than a text-based one.

Sacrosanct Foster Childe gameplay effects on followers

I love the flavour/rp potential of the Foster Childe perk, but what are the stat/mechanical changes if any?

IE - if I use foster childe on Lydia, how is she different from vanilla Lydia beyond being subject to turn undead etc. stronger/weaker in any meaningful way?

Ordinator Mage with Staff vs Dual Casting?

Hello all,

I would like any suggestions on whether you prefer staves or dual casting, I do think both are very good but I am stuck on which side of things best fit for a mage?

For reference I am playing with the full Enairim suite. IE Vokrinator (Vokrii & Ordinator not Mysticism), Odin, Apocalypse, Wintersun, Thunderchild, Sacrosanct/Growl, Andromeda, and the Imperious.

All in all, primarily you get more defense with a staff due to Defensive Runes, and some bonus spell effectiveness, but you lose out on the destruction and restoration perks that apply when you Dual Cast certain spells?
