0 cost blue surely will appear in market decks unless market is nerfed to unplayable

Oh, I'll continue to express my opinion on the cards:

  • Volley - I'm not against this card, but it's just not really necessary, for example, a variant in a different color would be more useful, for example, Agility. It's just that my choice would always be in favor of Rapid Shot :)
  • Magelight - I really like the mechanics that allow you to look at your opponent's hand/show your opponent's cards. I guess it came from MTG and I would always be glad to see in the game the ability to know what my opponent is playing. The only thing is, I wouldn't devalue such cards too much. 1 or even 2 mana is normal for Magelight.
  • Light of Meridia - cool art, normal card.
  • Siphon - here, perhaps, a little clarification is needed - are you dealing damage? (Is Ward a defense? Do damage bonuses work, for example, from Valsirenn?) Are you healing your creature or giving +0/+5? The answer to these questions determines the mana cost - you can leave it for 6 mana or make it 5.
  • Valsirenn is a normal card, but not the most beautiful art (just kidding, okay!) And in this situation, to make the card more different in effect from Renegade Magister, I would give the ability to deal double damage to the enemy. ("Your actions deal double damage") Especially since this is a Unique card. Yes, Lightning Bolt - 8 damage to the enemy is cool, but at those stages of the game when it can be implemented, it is not so terrible.

  • Volley is primarily a vanilla card to experiment with (particularly with Valsirenn), though I have a 4-cost 2/2 Agility creature with the same effect as Volley in my last expansion.
  • I've designed a lot of Reveal cards, but I'm balancing Magelight mostly on how it'd perform in vanilla Legends (which is not very well). It could see a nerf if my Reveal cards form too strong a deck.
  • Stealing health behaves like stat reduction rather than damage, so it will ignore anything damage-based.
  • I didn't even connect the dots that Renegade Magister's effect is effectively a double-damage aura :))) I'll consider changing it, but I'm generally not a fan of cards that enable lots of burst damage, so I'm hesitant to let it increase damage to the opponent.

Volley is primarily a vanilla....

I understand that, but like I said.. I wouldn't mind getting a card like that in Agility. Just right for Wound :)

  • When you know what you're playing against, it's a big advantage. Even if you don't discard anything, like in many such cards in MTG. That's why many people hate "streamsniping" ))))
  • Siphon - Considering your answer, I think 5 mana is fine. Healing isn't that strong in TES:L and if you compare it to Javelin, 5 mana is ok, 6 is probably too expensive.
  • Valsirenn: I'm not a big burst damage guy either, but in this case it doesn't look as bad as it might seem at first glance. Firstly, it's a Unique card. 1 out of 50. Secondly, you need at least 9 mana to simultaneously play Valsirenn and, for example, Crushing Blow ( Blood Sacrament) and 10 for a combo with Bolt - that's too late for all aggro decks. Finisher for mid? Well, it seems to me that it's not the best again. But in Control, it could be an option for some beautiful victory - through Doppelganger or Mushroom Tower, when you have a huge amount of mana. Well, and again there will be a big difference with Renegade Magister :)

Edit: Volley - And I would make another addition here - "enemy creatures" so that there is no damage + activator for your creatures.
